DPB Bride 2012 - We are getting married April 20, 2012 and my finance was also set on legally getting married on the date we would be getting married. He didn't care that it cost the extra money - it was just extremely important to him so of course, it's important to me too! Because the judge only does morning/afternoon ceremonies we had to get creative. We are having the judge legally marry us at 1230p (the only time he is available) and doing that privately with two friends as witnesses and then having another symbolic ceremony later in the day (at 430p) so that we could be married in front of all our guests. Then we will be able to have a 5p cocktail hour and a 630p dinner reception. This allowed for us to get married legally on the same day yet still met my requirements for having a late afternoon wedding so we could drink and dance into the night. Hope this helps! nikki

Dreams Palm Beach - April 20, 2012

Hi Girls - Just thought I would say a quick hi from here in Columbus, Ohio! My finance and I are planning our wedding for April 20, 2012 and have finally selected our resort of Dreams Palm Beach! We chose DPB because this is a second marriage for both of us and we are each bringing a little one with us so we needed a resort for kids and looked like it had some great adult fun! Really hoping we made the right choice because right now we are a little concern with the lack of response from the resort. I get that they are on "beach time" and all - but really... Hi Girls - We finally sat down tonight and decided Dreams Palm Beach will be the location of our April 20, 2012 wedding! I am going to submit our paperwork on Monday - it says everything must be scanned and email and some of the paperwork wants details that we haven't decided yet. Did you girls have that all filled out or did you leave some of that paperwork blank? Lot's of fun planning ahead - nikki
