  1. Hi Phil and Erin, Just curious if you've made your decision yet between Turks and St. Lucia? These are 2 completely different resorts and as already said above, one of the biggest differences is whether you will have guests with children or not. I've been to both of these resorts and they are both amazing. The overall beauty is St.Lucia is amazing and captured beautifully at La Toc. If you want amazing beach and some of the bluest water available in the Caribbean, the Beaches Turks and Caicos is the place for you. I have some beautiful photos of Beaches Turks and Caicos including several of the wedding gazebos with the sea in the back ground. Let me know if you would like to see it. If there will be no guests, then I would recommend the Grand St. Lucian as it is a more intimate resort.
  2. Hi Ashelyn, Assuming you are referring to the cost per guest for them to stay at Royal Bahamian, the price will depend on the number of room night selected and the room type your guests choose. The best thing to do is to work with a qualified travel agent who will provide you with the room prices based on your requests. Destination wedding packages are personalized. Some brides and grooms will plan one week and invite the guests for the entire time, others will present them with a package of 3 or 4 nights depending on if the bride and groom prefer some alone time after the ceremony. In most cases the guests are paying their own way so there is a fine line of what you can fairly dictate. It's best to have your guest work directly with your travel professional to keep you out of that loop so to speak and your agent will inform you of who has confirmed. I hope this helps. If you need the names of some destination wedding professionals, I can help you there.
  3. Hi Missheather, Sandals is a great choice for your wedding! The Martha Stewart Beautiful Beginnings wedding package is free at most of the resorts if you book a minimum of 6 nights accommodations in certain room categories. The wedding coordinators at the resort take care of everything for you. There are basic elements that are chosen prior to your arrival at the resort. Once you arrive there you meet with a wedding planner and confirm everything. Simple, inexpensive, (just the cost of your vacation unless you choose extra items) and great fun! Let me know if I can assist futher.
  4. Hi Shelly, Your deposit will depend on the resort you book. In some cases the weddings are free, so just a credit card is required to "guarantee" your wedding date. Others require a deposit as little as $ 200.00 to reserve your special date and time.
  5. The Hard Rock's former name is the Palace Resort Punta Cana. You should be able to find photos there.
