My husband and I just got back from our wedding at Barcelo Marina Palace in Cuba. Our wedding was fantastic! It was better than I had imagined. Our ceremony took place on the beach. We had 42 guests celebrating with us and they were seated in chairs with white covers and red flowers on the back. We brought our own ceremony musicians because we are lucky to have very talented friends The resort has musicians that can play, and we used them for the cocktail party after the ceremony. I incorporated several readings into the ceremony for each of my siblings to read in order to make the ceremony more personal. We brought our own coloured sand down for a sand ceremony. After the ceremony, we had a photographer do pictures on the beach with all of the guests. During cocktails, Ryan and I were taken around the resort to get some great photos in some beautiful locations. The resort had the beach for the ceremony, or several wedding gazebo options. After cocktails, we were taken to the reception hall. It was amazing! We had the hall all to ourselves, the food just kept coming and was the best food I had tasted at the resort. The wedding cake was amazing. I would have eaten more if I had enough room in my stomach. We had speakers set up for the bride and groom first dance, and for the father daughter dance.
