My fiance and I are deciding on esorts and this one is top of our list. Our travel agency specializes in destination weddings and highly recommends Riu overall and this resort in particular. I know it only opened last fall; many of the other resorts in Veradero are quite old. vacationed at the Princessa del Mar (beautiful but adults only). Saw the Riu from the outside and spoke to people staying there...very good reviews. Hope this helps.
