This is really a question for past GS brides. I have family asking if there are irons in the roo ? I stayed there 3 years ago and can't remember. I won't be doing any laundry but they want to iron. Thanks for your help. This time next week I will be enjoying my 1st day at GS can't wait

Thank you all for your replys. I phoned and spoke to Aracelys assistant yesterday while writing this post and she also confirmed that we didn't need to waste our money getting our birth certificates translated all we would need is our passports, tourist cards from the airport and passports for our witnesses. I feel alot calmer knowing all this. Yes will definately update a post when I get back. We leave the UK on the 22nd May, getting very excited now and on count down. I have stayed at the GS previously 3 years ago so it will be lovely to go back. Thanks again Michelle

Just wondering if anyone can help me out. I have booked through Thomas Cook in the UK and get married on the 31st. Thomas cook say that we need to get our birth certificates translated into Spanish and then legalised before we go. Aracely has said that as neither of us have been married and no changes we can take them as they are. I am thinking Aracely does this every day so she would know and the small print at the back of the brochure says different resorts in Mexico may ask for some none or all the paper work. Just want to know your experiences even from the US also. It's starting to stress me out! Thanks

@ Donnaalec Would you be able to send me the email address for the photographer please. Is this the hotel photographer. Agree 100% about the photos and theres no way that I would only be able to choose 10 to keep. Hope all your wedding plans are going well. I have sent my forms back to Araceli and had a reply back asking for clarification on some things just waiting now for a reply from that message. Michelle

@Donnaalec Thanks for the photo I have emailed now to book the palapa. We are 25 so hope that it doesn't look to big. Its beautiful though. I was just reading your post about the photographer. In the platinum package we get 10 free photos was the price you had from the photographer reasonable? Congratulations on your wedding, how many of you are going? We will see you there 1 last question which I am getting conflicting advice on is the translation of our birth certificates. Is it a must that we do it? Thanks

Do you know if I will be sent pictures of the wedding flowers or is that something to sort out in resort?

I am getting married at the GSRM on the 31st May. I have stayed at the resort about 3 years ago and loved it. We are a party of 25. I know I want a beach ceremony please can you send me any pictures of the palapa that you have as I am really interested in this after reading all the reviews.
