I'm not crafty enough or have the desire to much that much effort into the cups . Sorry to bail on the blank cup idea.

My friend that has been to resort suggested that these would be a great idea but I would like to know if others really thought they were put to good use and worth the expense too.

At Beaches Sandy Bay in Jamaica they have standard ones to choose from or you can bring your own; have you checked with your WC?

I would be interested in going in on a mass buy - I am getting married in Jamaica in 2012 though. I saw on another post where girls did this - they ordered the 250 min - put palm trees and "Jamaica 2009" on them and then they paid the one girl to split and ship them to other girls interested. I am interested in atleast 50-75 and possibly starfish. Let me know what you ladies think.

My TA/friend just returned from Negril and was able to take pics of Beaches Sandy Bay (sorry no room pics - they were completely booked) and Beaches Negril. IM me if you want to see one or both! I also got a pic of Fabriella (SB on-site wedding coordinator and Nicholas the onsite manager); and two of the gazebo sites from SB and the gazebo from Negril.

I just got home from my local Pier 1 store and they had coordinating little body lotions, shower gels and hand sanitizers on CLEARANCE! The lotions & gels were $.58 each and sanitizer was $1.28 each. The blue ones even had starfish on the label and the clearance stickers removed with ease. They had pink, yellow and I believe orange. I think I will bag them and label them, "For good, CLEAN fun".

I dont know anything about this website but my TA is going to set up something similar for us. Our friends/family can purchase upgrades, spa services, excursions when in all actuallity we get a check in return so we can actually do all the things we want - just in case there are weather issues, timing issues and we are only putting things on our registry we will actually do or use. Have you googled this website name + reviews?

Did any of you have the $25/person 1hr reception? I am just curious what the hot/cold hors d'ouevres consisted of? Were you please, displeased or indifferent? I'm trying to make reception decisions. My ceremony is at 4pm and I would like to do a small reception, dinner at one of the restaurants and then Liquid lounge but not sure if this would be too hum drum till 11pm when club is turned over to adults. OMG - ditto here on the stress and color problems. Deep purple BM dress and I wanted the GM to wear a deep purple button-down; which let me tell you has been hell to find so far! I am thinking groom - white shirt and BM lilac as I have actually been able to find this color but I think it will look off balance. Sarah0322 - you said you saw pics of BM in purple and didnt like it - could you refer me to those pics as I am interested to see some. Gap online had a purple button down but I prefer the linen type look. I also found some on Zappos but none have been "the one". AAAAGGGHHHH!

No pics just yet; my TA is working on getting those to me. I agree with you on the rooms - that is NOT where I plan on spending much of my time. I forgot to tell ya too that lounge chairs on the beach are 1st come 1st served so we'll have to get down there kinda early reserve us a good spot then grab breakfast - lol.

Here's mine by Allure (discontinued but I love it and got a smokin hot deal on it!). I might have some of the underskirt removed to make it less poofy.

I wonder if you could call or email the company and see if you could order like 100 or 150? Then if that is still too many you could keep some at home for parties at home or like our friends love to camp and after I had a ton of cups made for a suprise bday party we still all have these at the campground yr after yr (thats 6yrs later - lol).

Tammy Host - I was going to recommend the exact sam thing. My TA is going to set one of these up for me. The one they use is you set up an online registry for things like spa services, floral upgrades, champagne to your room, candlelight dinner, excursions and then the registry company actually sends you a ck for 1/2 the amount paid by friends/family and then you get the other half when you return home is how I understood it so you can actually use the money as you choose. This way if you never get to leaving the resort for the excursion purchased the money is still available to pay for other things like the outlandish price of the photo packages - lol. I believe on some of the registeries you can customize them and only put things on there that interest you or that you would actually do. I LOVE the idea!
