  1. Awesome congrats! I am also getting married at the Chapel of the Flowers on 9-10-11. We considered the Platinum Hotel but since we are paying for the whole wedding out of pocket with no help, we decided for something cheaper. I do love the pictures of the Platinum and hope it's just as beautiful in person. Let me know how everything goes. I wish we could go before the wedding but we won't be able to
  2. I am getting married there 09-10-11. We booked our wedding in October of last year because we knew it would be a popular day to get married. We were the 2 or 3 couple to book there for that day but last I checked it was up to 10. The chapel's reviews are amazing which is why I picked them over all of the other chapels. The correspondence between them has been awesome. They usually respond within 24 hours. However, I booked a wedding dinner through them for Pampa's Steakhouse inside of Planet Hollywood for the private room. After I had emailed them requesting the private room, I started to get worried after about a month of no correspondence back. It turns out I had a right to be worried because they never got confirmation of the reservation from the restaurant. Instead of my wedding planner proactively calling them after a week with no answer, she completely forgot and never followed up. When I emailed her, it was already too late and the private room was booked. We had booked the $70 a person package for 30 people which would be about $2100. I'm not going to pay $2100 and not have a private room. All in all, it ended up working out for the best because we found an awesome restaurant that would only charge about $40 a person but I was still very unimpressed with my wedding planner. I'm sure that this could happen at any wedding chapel because they professionally do weddings all day long. My only suggestion to you would be to make sure you follow up with every detail. Don't feel like you're bothering them. It's your wedding day, you want everything to be perfect. Another thing I've read from all the reviews is to make sure you purchase the CD of all the pictures. It costs $695 alone but from what I've heard, if you don't get it, you'll regret it. Just cut back on something else to make sure you can have your pictures forever. I'll let you know my full review once the wedding is done =)
