    I wish I knew sooner! I've been lurking for months and now I have to get my butt into gear... It is actually a pretty ingenious idea by BDW, this keeps the threads fresh and the site active.

    I love this idea but somehow I don't think many of my guests will have the pitching arm to throw the shells far enough. LOL...

    I think its a great idea but make sure you pick a frame that people can use. Honestly, I wouldn't keep a picture of someone getting married around unless someone really close (immediate family).

    I love the simplicity of the starfish one. But are caketoppers necessary? I never really noticed in weddings that I've attended.

    Can anybody recommend a type of flower that is orange and available in August in DR? I don't know much about flowers and need some help!

    They don't sound very reliable. I say go to another place and get it reset in a completely new setting. There's nothing worse then looking down and seeing that diamond gone (it happened to my best friend).

    My friend did this... she included information about the wedding and a casual message to family and friends. I think she put in more information then I would recommend (it was rather lengthy and hard to read because it kept curling up).

    I love using weddingchannel.com to build my website (they have templates and stuff). It was super easy! Plus, they have this guest tool manager. If people RSVP online (I didn't want this option but inlaw's insisted and it ended up being a great idea) it would automatically update your guest list. And you get to choose an easy url title, for example, JoeandAnn.ourwedding.com.
