Thanks for the advice! In the last 2 weeks EVERYTHING has changed....and the new wedding date is Friday, April 8th 2011!!! (Orginally we were thinking November 2011, but the future hubby's brothers are also getting married this year...and the end of the year won't work). That being said, we're doing a 3pm wedding at Gazebo 55 (We went and did a site visit the weekend of Dec. 11th and LOVED IT!) How are the wedding coordinators about bringing your own items? We plan to bring our own sand ceremony kit, sand, fans, programs and mini maracas for the ceremony. For the reception we have these little diamonds we want scattered on the tables, as well as pink jellybeans! Would love to get an idea on what your pricing was like. We're currently working with Valeria, and she seems quite responsive. I hope that continues!!! Thanks girls for all the input and support. ps- i still haven't gone dress shopping and that is one thing that is stressing me out like crazy!!!!

Hello.... I just realized that the post I created earlier introducing myself did post. Recently engaged in Hawaii in October... planning a site visit to EDR with future hubby next weekend. We want Nov. 5, 2011 bu we're told that only the 4pm slot is open. is that too late for a november wedding?? i hope not. please let me know if there's anything we should be keeping in mind as we go down to do our visit. I would love to do the ceremony at Gazebo 55 and then reception at Tuscanes (sp?) . Thanks! (this forum has been super helpful!) susie

hiiiii! newly engaged in October... Heading down to EDR next weekend with the fiance to do a site visit. I hope we love it and book our November 2011 wedding!! Anyone have questions that we should keep in mind when we meet with the WC next weekend? My mom is most worried about the weather and whether or not there will be a back up plan. I would love love to do our reception at Tucanes (did most people do a buffet?)...and how expensive are the private cocktail hours? Thanks!
