We are at the Tulum - so likely we are at the Tulum beach and you are at the Akumal beach! We are also doing a poolside reception with the resort DJ (not sure of his name). We have our dinner at the Gran Tortuga. We leave April 29th.. can't believe it is finally so close!!!! Do you have many loose ends to tie up or are you all good to go? -

Hey Ladies, Just wondering is anyone doing a bachlorette party while at the resort? My MOH wants to organize all the ladies to dress up a bit more the night before the wedding with bachlorette party stuff (veils, sashs,funny t-shirts, funny games like having to get people to do things or find things). Any thoughts on this? Are any of you doing this at all? The main reason we wanted to do this is I have moved alot over the last 7 years so I have women coming from many different cities so we thought it would be fun to do something with everyone. I'd love your thoughts or ideas!

Hi Everyone - Just curious why no one seems to be using the resort DJ? There are a lot of posts on here from people who seem to be renting a outside DJ for the private poolside reception. Is there a reason for this? I was told by my wedding coordinator at the Tulum that the price for the private reception includes a DJ (DJ Richard I think.) Thanks!!

Hi - does anyone know if when staying at the Tulum if you have access to the a la carte's at the Coba? Thank you!! Also, I am new to this post but am getting married at the Tulum in the Spring! Can't Wait!! and looks like I have alot of reading to do on here hehe

Hi - I'm just wondering the prices you are noting here (11/hr/person) is that above and beyond a flat rate for the poolside reception?? I am getting married at the Tulum in the Spring and that is not what I was quoted at all Maybe I misunderstood what you wrote!
