I was trying to decide between Paradisus and DPB originally before deciding on DPB. Friends of ours went to a wedding at the Paradisus last summer and they said it was beautiful but the food was herendous. Since most of my guests including myself will be staying an entire week, I could not choose the Paradisus if they had bad food. We also got engaged at our friends wedding last summer at the Dreams in Cancun. We were very happy with everything so we chose Dreams in DR. I did prefer the Wedding beach set up at the Paradisus but I'm confident my wedding will be everything I wanted at DPB.

OMG Allie you looked so beautiful. I'm so happy for you. I loved the pictures, who was the photographer? I still haven't booked one. And I see you did the pool reception. I hope I get to do that, they won't confirm until I get there. It's nerve wracking!!

It doesn't sound so bad when you say it lol. I offered to pay extra for a judge to come later in the day but Sharron said it is not a matter of cost, they have other obligations, etc. If it is very early in the day I will definetely reconsider getting married at home and not telling anyone.

My date is now confirmed!!! Just now trying to decide if we should have a judge or get married at home at our city hall (not thrilled about this option). Based on past posts it seems like you have to get married earlier in the day if you have a judge. I emailed Sharron to find out. Elizabeth, congrats on your engagement!!!
