  1. Hey all you ME brides, I know I've seen a lot of "sharing and passing it on" threads and I thought it would be awesome to start another one, but a little different. Since a lot of these places charge you for ALL the extras including tapestries, chair sashes, vases for centerpieces, platforms for weddings, etc etc etc, the list can go on forever. Maybe we can all try to SHARE some things and leave it there for the next!! I would definitely be up to splitting the cost of some things if it were the right colors. Of course we would have to coordinate dates and all that stuff, and we would have to depend on eachother, but I'm sure some of us could organize this.... I'll start--- I'm getting married July 16, 2011 at the Majestic Elegance at 1:00 PM and having my cocktail hour later from 6-7 on the private Elegance Club rooftop bar and then my Reception from 7:30-12 in the coference rooms. I'm planning to decorate the ENTIRE ballroom with white sheer drapings which should look amazing if anyone was interested in doing the same--- kind of like a Miami Beach feel. My colors are not decided yet, but I'm thinking Pale Yellow, Pale Pink, and Ivory. Yellow is just going to be the bridesmaid dresses, but mostly pink and ivory for the reception. Maybe start by posting your dates colors and what extra add ons you would want/need or thinking of getting.
