  Hi Tracy! You look so happy in your wedding pictures, and honestly that’s what its all about!  I'm not doing a private reception, after dinner I’m thinking we will just party the night away. From your experience, is that a good idea? Or should we do the private reception? It's just us paying for the wedding so we were trying to keep the cost down.  You also did a cocktail hour, was this while you got your pictures taken? Or did your guests go to the bar?

Yeah, his prices are way better than Sandos! Even if I have to pay the xtra $77, which I'm going to see if their waive. I don't get that. i'm having 50 + guest stay there and they want to chage me for some to come take pics for 3 hours?! Kinda ridiculous...lol. Thank you SO MUCH Lindsay! You just narrowed it down perfectly for me. I've been reading everyone’s comments/suggestions on here and I started feeling a little overwhelmed. As for the photographer, I'm in the same boat as you. It's not cheap and who knows how good they'll come out. BUT the one thing I've always wanted was good wedding pics, I could care less about ribbons, flowers, place cards, etc... So I might splurge on the photographer. What are you going to have your guests do while you get pics taken? Bar? Thats what I'm thinking.

Thanks Nicyx. Yeah, not doing evites for invitations. I'm just going to send out our invitations 6 months in advance. I sent out an email, just giving people a heads up and a link to our website.

How do you get the kits out of country? Do you ship them or bring them on the plane? Can you carry that kinda stuff onto the plane?

OMG! I just xcan't wait to be getting married in 7 months!!! seems like such a long ways, but not really!! Is anyone else going to be at Sandos the week of April 7th 2011??? Â Thoughts, I'm sending out my invitations 6 months berfore, because I skipped Save The Dates, instead I made a website and had friends and family check it out. Is this okay?? Â Other question, We don't want to spend the money on a "priovate receprion" b/c we are at an all inclusive and it seems kinda silly to spend $1500 on what otherwise is "free". Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do after dinner? What is everyone else dong?

I like to work out after work. I don't have enough energy that early in the mornig to give 100%. Plus the longer I work out the less likely I am to go home a pig out Plus Jillian is really like 40 minutes. I started doing it again, but it's so boring because I've done the whole shed 3 times already. it does work though ladies!

We have a website too with all the information. It's super cute. I was going to sernd out the evite and have people RSVP, by going to our website. IDK, I really don't want to do evite STDs but I know my FI is all for it. We are getting married and buying a house in the same month so we are cutting as my corners as we can without being tacky. I'll have to look for the other forum and see what the census is,. Â

I live in Jersey too! Cherry Hill, so more Philly than NY. I got my AA dress from a store around here. Cherry hill has a ton of bridal stores!

Question, my mom is a young mother and she looks great. My question is what should she wear? All the mother of the bride dresses are so "old lady-ish". At since we are getting married on the beach I want her to wear something cute, but classy...any suggestions? Â Oh she is giving me away. I should have added that in there.

I did Jillian last summer and got in really good shape. I'm pretty athletic to begin with and need to tone up and shred the last 10 pounds. However I gained 10 pounds back this summer, so starting it again! Good luck ladies!
