The one in Cancun was only managed by Melia but the hotels in Punta Cana are company owned properties and will not be sold any time soon. For sure you won't get any problems with this. Danielle

I wouldn't count on the waiter. A lot of times these resorts work with a centralized music system operated by computers, so no CD players involved. I would contact the resort and not take the risk. Danielle
