Bailey, LOVE the door hangers!! Lisa, my TA said there are still rooms available, BUT the preferred ocean front suites are sold out. That is okay, since we won't be able to afford them anyway. I know we are a last minute group (NO ONE has booked yet) but it all kind of became our last priority with the new job and move and all. I'm hoping that my family and us will book here pretty soon. Honestly, I wouldn't mind moving the wedding to post-hurricane season to give us more time to plan and save money, but FI is not keen. It also feels kind of stupid to drag everyone, including my family from Sweden, to Mexico when we will be living in Florida and it would be closer and cheaper for them to just come there.......but, oh well, we didn't know we would be moving half across the country when we started planning this....

Oh ok! Since I value your "knock-off- knowledge" what do you think about ordering the Ella dress that MsSciFi posted? I have not tried on the original, because I'm afraid that would ruin my knock-off experience if I would decide to order it.

I don't think that it is weird! Lisa, that version is beautiful! I am walking in to Somewhere over the rainbow with Israel Kamakawiwo. I am not a traditional bride at all, and in Sweden we don't walk in to Here comes the Bride, so it is different for me I guess. Not sure how to time it right though, it is a pretty long version. I will have to talk to my brother, the music producer, about that.

I didn't have that many questions at the time but did ask for pics and she said they didn't have any of that dress. I asked if they had made it before and she said that they had one in process right now. If i find out something more I will def. let you know.

Yes, there are two of us We had to rush our legal marriage because of my visa, so not very romantic at all. I think of myself as engaged because that is how I feel. The only ppl that know that we're married are my family and uncle Sam

Lisa, That would be super!! What color are the chair bows that the other bride has left for you? Whatever I can use will help, and I will get it back to you before you leave. Our group is not as big as yours so I doubt I need a lot of stuff.

Meggers, Where are you getting married? I will be there during Lisa's wedding week too (same resort as her as well) and would love to be able to use anything you would want to leave behind! I won't have the money to buy decorations and stuff, which sucks. I think Lisa's and my wedding colors are almost the same too! Blue, Green & White (beige for me).

Good luck Mischaka!! It will be wonderful! I have made the same decision as you. We will keep it simple, because we can't afford extras and we wanted a laid-back wedding. We never planned on having a bridal party, but I have decided to not do OOT bags these last couple of days. We just don't have the time or the money. As far as decorations, if I can find the money I might get chair bows, fans and something for the reception, but if not it will still be beautiful.

Lisa and others, where did you get the key card/tip holders? I would love to get those for my guests, since that is something I know no one will think of bringing.

Thanks! I have never been to the resort, but have been getting great feedback, so I am excited! I have only tried on dresses at David's Bridal and for their dresses I'm a size 4.

Oh, that is great! how did you find a sample? Did you just call the different resellers in your area? I would love to know how it feels on, so please give me all the details when you get back! Dress #1 looks a lot different on a real bride. Still pretty but I would also want the layers lay flatter. When are you planning to order your dress?
