Hi Mariana, Congratulations on your marriage! I am also getting married in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and still looking for a few pointers. Did you get your hair and make up done? Would you recommend them? If yes, would you please forward their contact information to me? Also, what time of day did you have your ceremony? I'm leaning towards noon but I hear the lighting is too intense for photographs. Anyway, ANY help you can give is appreciated. Thank you!

HELP! I'm feeling frustrated because I can't seem to find a make up artist and hair stylist in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo. Can anyone recommend someone or let me know who they're using. I can't find any names/numbers/contacts. I don't speak Spanish so it would be useful if the service providers speak English. Thanks!

Name: Jolene Date: October 31, 2010 Loc: Zihuatanejo, Mexico Ceremony takes place on Playa la Ropa and reception at La Perla restaurant. The twist - we're taking an 8-Day Mexican Riviera cruise an are only disembarking in Zihuatanejo for 9 hours on the day of our wedding. I've run into a few "issues": not a super fan of the site's preferred photographer & he doesn't have a website so I can see are albums on youtube. Many other photographers charge 2x more but offer a second day of photographs BUT they've only offered them at the SAME location, which doesn't work for us. Looking online I can't seem to find a make up artist - suggestions please. I think there's more but I can't think of them atm.
