Hi  I am also an April 2011 bride, the 2nd to be exact, we are getting married at the Moon Palace Golf and Spa resort in Cancun, Mexico.  So far I have:  Booked the resort Paid 50% deposit for wedding Bought some bits for my wedding favours for reception when we get home Seen so many gorgeous dresses online but not ventured out to try any on yet!!! Seen bridesmaid dresses that we like (bridesmaids going to try on tomorrow!!!)  Thats pretty much it TBH, need to get my finger out i think!!!

Some brilliant ideas girlies!!!  Just thought i'd share my find with you all, I bought mini wedding photo frames for our wedding favours, they are silver and have 2 wedding bells or 2 birds on them and they are only £2.99 for 12 from Home and Bargain. We are going to have them for our reception when we get home that way I can print off a picture of us on our wedding day and put it in the frames.  Louise - Cant see your photo's unfortunately, have been dying to see them too as we are getting married at the Moon Palace too!!! Brilliant planning thread BTW!!

Thank you for that Kerry, we were missing the dialling code (001), we asked at the travel agents and they told us what was missing!! So got it faxed yesterday! Hi Girls, I'm hoping that you may be able to help me out, I was supposed to fax our signed wedding contract by today and keep getting error messages when trying to fax, the number we have is 305.421.1608, i have tried to contact my WC but she is out of the office till the 6th!!!! I have emailed the main wedding people to see if there are any missing numbers from the fax but still waiting for a reply. Do any of you know if I have to add a dialling code at the front of this fax number Also how did you pay your deposit, they were asking for a copy of the front and back of my card and the woman at my bank nearly had a heart attack when I told her that!!!! Hope you ncan help, Jacqui x

Hi You all look lovely in your dresses, i was reading your posts about your hairstyles and thought i'd let you know what I have bought (still waiting for it to arrive) Its 2 DVD's of all different hairstlyes for weddings and how to do them, it is over 5 hours long and only cast £.75 from ebay. Hi Nicola I'm from Knotty Ash in Liverpool! Not planned anything so far, originally planned on going to the occidental grand xcaret but when we tried to get information from the wedding team at first choice they were not very helpful so then chose the Moon Palace. When we tried to book that we were told that they had taken it off sale for re-pricing!!! So finally booked the holiday last week!!! Just have to book the weddintg date now but will do that either later or tomorrow directly through Moon Palace. Will check out that website for the dresses, thank you!!! Jacqui x

Hi everyone and congratulations on your engagement and your up and coming weddings. Josietoms - you are getting married on my birthday so that will definately be a good day!!! I'm getting married at the Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort next year, we are flying out on the 28th March but still no wedding date confirmed, Thomas Cook say we cant get married till after the 5th April but we were hoping to married before that so going to ask the resort about booking directly through them, how long have you all been told you have to be in the country before you can get married? Anyone found any good sites for wedding/bridesmaid dresses? Jacqui x
