Hi Asheeki, Sungold photography are doing our photos and i am still trying to decide between Tai Flora and Grande Garden for the flowers. Yulia is my coordinator.

Welcome aboard. You will be very happy you chose this forum. I too am getting married in Jamaica. You will get useful information from other brides and brides to be, who give advice on florists, resort locations, welcome packages, wedding activities and so on. Good luck with your planning.

I'm also getting married in Montego Bay, Jamaica at the Rose Hall Resort.

Hi Vaughan, I am also getting married at Rosehall Resort (RHR) and am in the process of planning. My fiance and I stayed at the resort last month when we visited the island and we knew this was the place we would tie the knot. The hotel surroundings are top notch. Do you have a location picked out already? We're getting married at the aqueduct. I can't wait...It's been fun planning so far. Terls

We chose 4:30pm in order to get some photos in before it starts to get dark. Also, we figured it would be cooler then.

It looks like most of you are married by now. How did your flowers and decor turn out? Which florist did you end up using and were you satisfied?

Tell her exactly what you want and she'll give you that and more. We met the day before my wedding and I handed her a large suitcase with all my wedding stuff; decorations, menus, guest book, escort cards, etc. I even gave her my reception dress which she later helped me get into. She was just there in whatever manner I needed her to be. I HIGHLY recommend her service,you won't be disappointed. Now for Kevan our DJ. He truly is the best in the west. I didn't have any contact with Kevan before the wedding, I simply made a playlist and e-mailed it to Dawn, she passed it on to him and he delivered beautifully! My #1 wish for my wedding was that I and my guests had a blast, for us to party and dance the night away. And that's exactly what we got! My guest told me that they had nevered had so more fun a wedding reception. DJ Kevan stuck to my playlist request and delievered exactly what I wanted. I have no complaints. I too am in a similar position with you regarding Rosehall Resort. I want it ALL, but RHR certainly wants to charge for it ALL as well. I read you review and was wondering if you would share your wedding reception photos with me. [email protected]. Were you happy with the food at your reception? Because one of the reasons I chose RHR was that their food was on point. I really enjoyed it every single day I was there. Were you happy with your reception decor? Which florists did Dawn use because I recently came across Tai Flora, and their work looks amazing. Was your reception location far from RHR? I really hope to hear from you soon so that I could make a decision regarding the reception. Congrats again. You seemed to be very pleased with how everything turned out.

Hey Veronica, Thanks so much for sharing that very detailed review. I had no idea you had done so much DIY work. You couldn't even tell from the photos because everything looked so professionally done. You have every right to feel good about your day because it really looked perfect. I don't think I have the patience to do stuff myself, however I know it would probably cut alot of the extra costs for me. Your review filled me with so many wonderful ideas and I thank you for that. Can you let me know if your husband got to try his suit on prior to buying it? From your review it sounds like you made an online purchase which worked out perfectly for him.
