(so that we don’t have to do blood work & paperwork at the resort) Since some family & grandparents can't make it to Mexico we invited them to be a part of our “legal day.†We had a minister come to our house for a quick 5 minute ceremony and then we went out for a nice lunch. Dress: from Arden B. (coincidentally looks like a mini version of my wedding dress) Shoes: (something blue) from Forever21 (great bargain) Hair piece: (friend made flowers and I added the peacock feathers) Clutch: found at a 2nd hand store on a trip to San Francisco Favors: Dry Salsa mix from jotproducts.net (someone I met from work who made dry spices) Since our guests couldn’t make it to Mexico, we brought a taste of Mexico to them. OK. I think that’s all of it. Happy Planning everyone! PM me if you would like any templates.
  8. great question Seeflower! was wondering the same thing.. Nic- Great job on your planning thread! Dana- is the minister's name Roberto?
  9. Thanks ladies! I love these shoes (in the color "pool").. and they match my colors so well. They are very comfortable to me. Make sure you try ones at the store before ordering.. I believe they run a little big. I'm normally a size 7 and had to buy size 6.
  10. btw.. does anyone know if wifi is available in the rooms or just the lobby area?
  11. Jennifer Lopez= out of sight
  12. V- Thanks for the info. how was the ceremony? does the minister work with how you want your ceremony to be and what you want him to say? I wanted to add something different and was wondering if they can do it. does Nancy need to know this prior or does she go over it with us during our meeting? I'm having 14 ppl coming and can't wait any longer..I sooo need to relax and destress. I started packing last night and don't know how i'm going to fit everything.. i need to find more luggages!! I'll have my planning thread by next week.
  13. V- Congratulations MRS!!! So happy everything went well for you. Please let us know when you finish your review. btw.. did you use their music or bring your own for the ceremony? ipod or cd?
  14. I use wedsite.com It costs $45 (i think for the year) and you can even order a copy to keep for memories.
  15. I was looking at custom cups for about 20 ppl and I would've had to purchase minimum of about 50 plus design fee.
  16. My FI and I try to be eco-conscious so we wanted to give out reuseable cups for our OOT bags. Since it wasn't it our budget to get personalized ones, we found these at Costco. They're really good quality and not a bad price, $10 for a 3 pack. (also comes with extra straws)
  17. See & Nic- What dates will you be at RIU?? I wonder if all 3 of us are going to be there at the same time? I will be there from the 1-7th.
  18. Wow! there were some pretty rough comments about RPRM on tripadvisor. I just wish that the first week in May is pretty calm.. but then again its cinco de mayo week.
