I am in the same boat! We are getting married on the beach May 29th near Key West. All the talk right now is that the oil slick is going to be carried into the Keys and into all of South Florida in the next few days/weeks. I don't even know what to think. Our wedding is 3 weeks away! I want to call my wedding planner, but I don't even know what to say! It's not like she knows anything more than I do right now!

We are flying into Fort Lauderdale and making the drive down. It's only about 3.5 hours from Fort Lauderdale & I second the previous poster -- the drive is too gorgeous to miss!

Hello all, I am a newbie who just found this forum a couple of weeks ago. I'm getting married in 54 days on Little Palm Island near Key West! I've been stalking the OOT bags forum and it's already helped me so much! Such great ideas! I just wished I would have found this site before I went and bought my pricey invitations! --Jenn

Hey Florida Keys brides I need help! We are getting married next month at Little Palm Island. We need a limo company for a few hours to take us from our hotel and down to Key West for our rehearsal dinner. I am having trouble finding a company that A) has a limo large enough to hold 12 people or is still in business. It seems like a lot of the companies that are out there on the internet have since gone out of business. Any recommendations?

I'm kind of late to this thread, but if you're still looking around, we are getting married on Little Palm Island in late May. So far, our experience has been GREAT! We did one scouting trip and fell in love instantly. We've gone back one more time to meet with the wedding coordinator -- she is wonderful! Yes, it is definitely pricey, but we are only having 11 guests, so it's not really going to be very expensive. If you want an intimate location -- Little Palm is the perfect place! Good luck!
