  1. Has anyone used the My WeddingDJ App for their wedding using their iPhone or iTouch?
  2. I bought some super comfy flip flops by Reef. Then ran out to Michaels and purchased white satin ribbon, sparkly rinestones, and a couple of bunches of white flowers. After wrapping the flip flops in the white ribbon (with the help of double sided sticky tape and a little hot glue), I trimmed off some of the wire from the bunches of flowers, stuck the wire through the ribbon and hot glued them down to be safe. Then I hot glued the rinestones to the ribbon. And voila! What's also nice is that if I want, I can remove the decorations post wedding and just wear the flip flops as they were when I bought them :-) Here's a few pics including one before and after.
  3. We ordered starfish bottle openers from http://www.littlethingsfavors.com/stdeboop.html . - I'll probably end up putting them in more personalized boxes .
  4. My fiance and I bought these stainless steel mugs from discountmugs.com, without a logo. They don't have handles to attach anything to but they DO have the rubber netting on them. So I'm thinking of laminating small, circular tags with our logo on one side and the guest's name or initials on the other. Then I was thinking of attaching the tags to the rubber netting on the mugs with either key rings or a fishing line-type material. I'll post pictures of the finished product...if this works of course:-) Ha ha...crafts, crafts, and more crafts!
  5. Your Welcome bags are great!!! I'm using them as a guide for ours! Of course Wal-Mart has been cleared out of the tumblers by now, so instead we bought a bunch of tumblers on discountmugs.com. Can I ask you where you got the craft bags for your survival kit please? Thanks a lot!!

    Where to go?

Hi everyone, My name is Kristen. My fiance', Matt, and I got engaged in St. Lucia in 2008 and are finally talking more seriously about the when and where's of our wedding. We're currently looking into having our wedding toward the fall to winter of 2011. We recently met with a travel agent who recommended Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Jamaica as possible destinations for us and our guests. At this point, we're just sifting through the catalogs of resorts in all of the above locations and are pretty overwhelmed. All of the destinations seem so beautiful and it will be difficult to make the decision of where to go. I joined the forum to seek opinions and suggestions on locations and resorts. Either way, we're looking forward to marrying on the beach and celebrating for days with friends and family. Can't wait! Here goes! Kristen
