  1. Got married in Cabo and I wore the very sought after Jcrew Organza Dune wedding dress. It was so comfortable and looked so amazing in the pictures. It was a dream dress. The dress is a size 12. Since the dress is so gorgeous and flowy it really does leave the option to expand or take in the top as little or as much as you need without needing to do anything else to the dress. The dress has been hemmed 1.5 inches. I'm 5'3 and I'm wearing 4.5 inch heels. This dress was the first dress I saw, tried on and purchased. I just knew it was the one. I purchased this dress right when it came out for 1,000+ after taxes and I'm asking for 600.00 OBO and I'm the original owner of this dress. The dress has been cleaned and packed since coming home from Cabo. It was not involved in any stunts or "trashing of the dress" activities. The dress will come in it's original shipping box, storage box and garment bag, all specially made by Jcrew for preservation. Can ship to anywhere, seller is in CA and buyer will just pay postage since the original shipping box will be used. Terms of Sale: Straight forward original seller to a buyer. No returns. Will ship anywhere since the dress will ship in the original box. Buyer will only have to pay shipping! Pay via Paypal. Will accept cash payments if you go directly into our bank and make a deposit in cash or bank money order, not personal checks. Item will ship as soon as payment clears. I tried uploading pics on here but I kept getting an error screen. So you can see the dress at our photographers blog and feel free tot click on all the albums to see more pics! We had our wedding on October 5th, 2010 http://theyoungrens.com/blog/tag/josh-kate/ Please email me at [email protected] for any questions!! Thanks so much!!

  5. Hi All, Â We are getting married at esperanza in Cabo, October 5, 2010. The coordinator at the hotel has been fantastic and she suggested that we ship all of our favors and wedding related items through a broker who could repackage everything for us and get it in safely and with minimal taxes and fees. Â This being said, we would only want to ship the things we HAD to or that were to big to bring in through the airport. So can anyone help us, how has your customs experience been? Â For the small things we might bring in with us it would be this: (paper flowers (about 30 of them) ornaments( about 25 of them) wedding favor boxes and favors (about 25 of them) A handmade set of wedding forks for fiancee and I moss table numbers accessories and gifts for the bridal party (about 12 gifts) Â That being said, do you think these things would be better shipped? They are so light weight and can be boxed up so small that it should not be an issue as far as price of shipping, but I'm still just wondering if anything would be taken away in customs? Also we got it approved to send in some faux HUGE manzanita trees with stands for the centerpieces instead of having them made so we could send them back to us when the wedding is over. So we will be shipping those to the resort as well as the crystal strands and the hanging votive candles. Being we have to ship these anyway... do you think anything above would be taken away in customs so we should just ship it anyway? Â Has anyone shipped anything through a broker before to Cabo? Â Thanks for all your help!!
  6. HI, getting married at Esperanza and we are using Los Cabos Flowers. I talked to them about doing some Manzanita with crystals and votive candles but it doesn't seem like this is a look they do all the time. Is anyone using a florist in Cabo and is going for the same look? Can you give me the info and the rate they quoted you for it?? We only need 3 so I'm hoping we can find someone with a good rate! thanks so much!!
  7. let me know how he was and what the rates were that you got quoted! Our resort coordinator has booked him for us but I'm not sure if she booked him for only guitar or both! thanks!
  8. getting Married at Esperanza this October and I'm happy to say that the trip advisor was soooo wrong about the costs! Here is our breakdown: 35 guests 3,500: wedding costs for set up and venue, shoe service, fan service, and complimentary towels and drinks for guests when they arrive 6,000: food and beverage for a 7 course buffet style dinner, 6 drinks p.p, wedding cake and desserts Additional fees: 680.00 -Justice of the Peace 350 - interpretor 80 - Paper work and legalization forms and registry 250 Everything else are things we are bringing in: 500.00 for flowers (the resort itself provides gorgeous lanterns and candles, etc so no need to bring in a ton of decorations) 900.00 for guitarist for ceremony and cocktail hour and 2 hours of DJ at the reception We have decided to bring in our own photographers from California so that's very pricey but Esperanza provides a list of vendors to match all budgets. We wanted to use Neyma for makeup, but after seeing a TON of issues on here with her showing up we are going with Suzanne Moral and she has been great so far with communication and pricing. As far as music goes, the jury is still out actually. I'm still looking around for just the right fit, but Esperanza has booked some vendors for us just in case I don't find another one. So all in all, Esperanza does not HAVE to be budget blowing. They certainly do have some options that are out of this world amazing but if you are a DIY bride (we are having a huge box sent to the Resort full of our DIY touches about a month before the wedding) and can do a lot of your own vision yourself... it's actually affordable and luxury at the same time! hope this helps !!!
