Thank goodness im not the only one he is really getting on my nerves as of late and we have had some major bust ups but we chilled out together today and did not discuss any of it which was cool ..............its like it bubbles up then im carm ...........then it bubbles up again.............ive just asked him to keep me focused that its all about us !!! and nothing else matters ............he said he will try so annoying lol

Great to hear that things are looking up for you and FI. You have mentioned that he doesnt want you to postpone I think that you need to do what best for you and if thats an option that will give you peace of mind and rest over the situation it may be one to consider.......for the meantime until other issues are resolved.....im sure family and friends will support you in any decision that you make. But it does sound like things are in hand as your speaking to someone to give you independant advice. Hi donutdjn I am also working with Yolande she does get back to me quickly if I have a query she did negotiate with me at first I think she is fed up with me asking her to cut prices ( it never hurt to ask ) lol. did she send you the the excursion price list ? I have also got the meal price lists let me know if you need them and I will send them to you!!!

Hi im from the UK due to get married at Rose Hall Hilton booked through Thomas Cook as I started with the Riu Tropical Bay Negril changed my mind booked second wedding with Thomas Cook Signature who use Virgin planes and not Thomas Cook planes ( not sure why ) I have seen on trip advisor that some Thomas cook planes start at Gatwick or Heathrow approx 10 AM and then stop in Birmingham to pick up more passengers so check with your Travel Agent. What is very strange is becuase I booked through Thomas Cook ( in a high street shop not the phone ) Thomas Cooks signature refuse to speak to me directly I must phone the actual shop Thomas Cook and they will phone Thomas Cook Signature they said due to data protection, so won't be doing that again as I can't get quick answers sometimes and the travel agent is not always availible straight away. I have heard good things about First Choice I did fly with them to Barbados and evrything was very good the captain even came out to say hello to the economy passengers

your day looks lovely ..... love the dress and colour scheme. The gazebo looks fabulous I think your pictures are the best of this location that I have seen. How was the general feel of the hotel ? did they give you any upgrades or anything special as a wedding party. I am also shocked with the prices of Hilton. Have you considered taking the reception off site. I have seen a lot of discussion from brides from Rose Hall Hilton looking for alternative reception locations. This indicates to me many are not happy with the prices .... I would say ...excessive pricing. You do have options it just may take a little more planning and time

This is de ja vu. ;-) At the moment I have two weddings booked !!! I was up against so many things guests with kids not being allowed in some hotels pressure from the fi to book no one to help. So I booked for the half term 31.05.10 Riu Tropical bay rooms looked lovley and beach excellant great reviews on trip advisor ............after I booked the fi family became very upset that it wasnt booked in summer holidays and 70%guests had to stay at the hotel some persons did not want to. I could not sleep!!! I then just re booked to go to Rose Hall Resort and Spa but the beach looks dire so still not happy. But I do like the location the Aquaduct and my guests have booked so Im just going to stick to it still may change the last week to an alternative hotel as guests are staying the whole two weeks with us !!! I would advise anyone if you feel like changing your mind you can but speak to someone and get some advice. Good Luck everyone its not as easy as it sounds :-)

Congratulations !!! on your engagement I am also due to get married at the Rose Hall Resort and Spa on the 07.08.10. I am still waiting for my wedding pack from the Travel agent. I will keep you posted.
