Hi, I was married at the ASP on May 14th, 2010.. I actually was undecided about my hair and make-up issue as well.. When the day of my wedding came, I was so excited and at that point I really did not care,( I had a hair trial the day before) but it all feel in to place.. Hugliana at the Salon took care of my hair and makeup and she did an Amazing job, the only thing I made sure she used was my own lipgloss/lipstain that actually lasted all day.. I am still getting compliments on how beautiful my hair and makeup turned out.. P.S. I loved the Ochard flower they provided me with at the Salon,the day of my trial, one of the ladies picked an orchard from the garden and put it in my hair so I can see.. I ofcourse loved it, I figured if I am getting married on an island I have to have that in my hair!!! I paid extra for it and I had a headpiece, but after looking at the pictures I am so happy I took everyone's advise and used the Orchard.. Once Again I should stress that getting married at the ASP was a Dream Come true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will trust me, and make sure to get lots of pictures of him, so you can look back at it, later down the road.. I wish we had more pictures of that.. I was lucky enough to have that as an option for my ceremony.. Good Luck with the Planning and what also helped me alot was reading the Destinations and Weddings Honeymoon Magazine.. It was a great help..Lots of great ideas

Hi, Â Â I had a beautiful harpist play at our ceremony, and My now husband and I picked out the song that I walked down the aisle too when we met with Yasmin.. I just wanted to let you know that you will not be dispointed with the Harpist, one of the best decisions we made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dream come true..

I have been reading this thread since Last October, and it really helped me out alot, I think I might just sent back maybe one question to someone, but I took alot in and I still love to see all of things that are being said.. I miss it so much.. We had the best times of our life there... I had been with my now husband for 16 yrs and this was the best choice for us.. I was so nervous about everything and I had 50 thousand questions,,when we arrived there and met with Yasmin, everything honestly fell into place, and all of my worries went away.. I never met the resort photgrapher until the minute it was time for us to go to the gazebo, my husband and I chose the ASPalace side, and I am soo glad I did as did everyone else.. The horse and Carriadge pulled right up to the gazebo and is was very private, for us it was like time stood still.. ( I still get goosebumps just thinking of that day) we had a harpist and everyone could not have been more amazed by that, including us.. We checked out the Cove side, and we really did not like that side, alot more people, and I had such a long walk to that gazebo, I had like 5 inche heels on.. Yikes..we just wanted it more private.. Our pictures came out amazing, I dont have any right now to send they are with a photographer here, ( I wanted to make a table album book) All, I can say is it was everything and more I could have dreamed of.. You are making a great choice, just make sure to spend lots of time with you husband, I wish we would have stayed a little longer than 10 days..

Hi, Â I recently got married at ASP on May 14th, and I was just as nervous as you were about my hair.. I had my hair done by Hugolina who spoke not real good english, but was such a good choice for me after all... I still get complements on how pretty my hair looked... Trust me, having our wedding there was a True Dream Come True and allof my crazy nerves were fine and evertything fell into place...

Good luck with planning.. Having a destination wedding is like having a real dream come true... I loved having my wedding on a beautiful island. The only advice I have to you, is for you to really take it all in and saver ever moment of it..
