That wasn't the case when I booked which is why I brought someone from the US. Glad you found someone you like! A good photog that fits your style is the most important about the wedding, IMO. Yes there are but not many award-winning ones would be willing not to charge extra for travel, but I was lucky enough to find them. Currently Karisma requires either a fee of $500 (which is a huge waste of money) or a stay of 3 nights which would also cost the bride a ton of money. I was trying to say that the only way to avoid this is to find photographers who will not charge you extra for travel and stay the 3 required nights. That's the best option and I found that. That's why I am looking for another bride to share Atristique Photographie with because they will be in Mexico for a while on a vacation.

See my previous post from today....

  4. Hello beautiful fellow brides, I WAS WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SHARING PHOTOGRAPHERS =) We have already booked Artistique Photographie for our wedding at Azul Sensatori in Puerto Morelos, Mexico on November 14th, and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in sharing them and in saving on travel fees? They are an award-wining duo, they are young and fun and they have been very honest with us and accommodating. They're images are beautiful, just check out their portfolio. We are really excited to work with them and I'm sure you would love them too. They are not one of those vendors that will give you set hours and charge ridiculous amounts for any extra hours of work. They will shoot THE WHOLE DAY OF THE WEDDING. We got a super deal off of what they normally charge and Michelle said she would honor our package for any other brides November 4th through the 22nd. They will CUT THE AIRFARE IN HALF too so it is even a better deal. Here is what we are getting: Two photographers Rehearsal dinner coverage the night before the wedding Unlimited time coverage on the wedding day TDD or "Day After" shoot Unlimited locations on the wedding day Unlimited images taken (you will have between 800-1200 typically) Wedding digital negatives Wedding Montage DVD Website ordering for 1 year Airfare and lodging for two Mexican work visa They have a listing in the vendor market place where you can see some of their work and a link to their website: Artistique Photographie Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you contact Michelle directly, just let her know that I sent you.

  6. Hello Ladies, I was just wondering if any of you are planning a Sensatori wedding closer to the end of 2010? Please let me know, send a private message if you prefer.....I need some help. Thanks!
  7. Hi guys, I'm new to this post and soon to have my wedding booked at Azul Sensatori.....can't wait. Any good advice?
  8. The list sounds great but where do I find it? =P
  9. Hi girls, I could really use some help. I am in love with Azul Sensatori but I'm afraid that my guests will not be able to afford to stay there. I would like to get married in June 2010 but my dates are flexible. I would really like to know what room rates to expect from the resort. Can anyone please let me know what deal you got? You can email me at [email protected]. Thanks so much! - Kathy

Hi thefuturemrslutz, Thanks for showing interest in my thread. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I have an agent working on getting me Sensatori but I don't think it is going very well. Are you getting married there? I cannot really expect my guests to spend any more than $550 or possibly $600 a week. Did you negotiate anything with them?
  11. Hello gorgeous brides, My name is Kathy, I'm from New York and I'm planning a destination wedding in Mexico in June 2010. We have looked at many destinations. Puerto Rico was our first choice (Vieques Island) but we realized that an all-inclusive resort would be the best thing for our guests and unfortunately PR does not specialize in those. Then we looked at the Dominican Republic which has plenty of all inclusives but we realized that no matter how good the hotel deals are the flight is too expensive from NY. So that's how we found out that Mexico, Riviera Maya in particular and surrounding areas are our best bet. We want our guests to fly into Cancun because the flight prices are very reasonable and we are in love with Azul Sensatori by Karisma Hotels. We haven't booked anything yet but we are trying to negotioate with this hotel. Any help and suggestions would be helpful because we have gotten ignored by a few travel agencies and we're not sure what to do. Thanks! XoXo, Kathy
