  1. I am getting married at Dreams Cabo and I had a similar scare on the rooms. At one point during my planning, the hotel was oversold for the night of my wedding. My WC did tell me that the guests who made late reservations would be moved to a sister hotel. I was really upset because it was still 3.5 months out so to me that wasn't a late reservation. She assured me though that they then would be moved back to the dreams because (and this is cabo not cancun so I cant speak for both) I understood the sister hotel was actually a nicer hotel so they would technically be UPGRADED for one night, then would be able to move back. To me it makes more sense for everyone to be at one hotel. Just convenience wise. But I will say, this little "scare" detoured most of my guests from staying there. They ended up booking elsewhere to avoid the inconvenience of moving and then the hotel ends up not being overbooked (the group ended up cancelling I recently found out, mean time my guests cant now change their reservations). Sooo I will have to deal with the inconvenience but my guests are happy, so I am too. They aren't looking at it as inconvenient so I guess thats what matters. I definitely wouldn't say that through my planning, I have had the best customer service, but it's hard planning so far away. once I get there I am sure that my opinion will be different. If it's not I will be sure to let everyone know but it just doesn't seem like the standard for them to not treat people well.
  2. Timberly, I owe so much thanks to you and all of the other Dreams brides (Ana, Erika, etc) in particular! I will be sure to tell Yorai hello. Also, I meant to tell you....I booked Lunas De Fuego. I am super excited to see them!!

Also, I love those purses you bought for your bridesmaids, where did you get them? Have a great wedding girl! I have a wedding band also. Matches the band part of my ring. It's a 1karat diamond band, I just didn't get any pictures of it yet I had a hard time deciding whether to do one or not. If you see my ring from the side it has some detail that I didn't want to cover up, but once I added the band and saw it on my finger, I just had to have that extra karat And the bridesmaids clutches, those came from Davids Bridal also to match our dresses. The pink is mine the black is for the girls. They were only $19 bucks and they're decent size! Fit a phone, camera and a compact!

  12. This thread is amazing! I am 2 weeks away and just now putting my music together. What would I do without this site!?
  13. I got 30 of them for $200. I ordered these through my Aunt. She owns a company that sells this sort of promotional stuff. I made my logo in Photoshop and sent it to her. I just sent her an idea of a mug I found on the internet and she matched one that was reasonably priced to it! If you would like me to give you her information so you can email her please directly message me!
  14. Love! Especially when it's warm rain! Snowcones?
  15. Hey Ladies! I finally received my mugs today and I couldn't be happier! I wanted to share these with you all I am going to be including these in the welcome bags for all of the guests. Just trying to figure out now if I should ship them or if I should try to carry them on with me....!?
  16. I know I didn't really know what to expect because with Davids Bridal it could have gone either way. I ordered them with the rum lined envelopes and RSVP cards and it all looked sooo good. Everyone commented on how professional they came out. I couldn't be more pleased and I think I only spent $280 on 100 of them.

  20. Hi Ladies, I ordered my invites from Davids Bridal. They were really really reasonably priced and I was impressed with the quality once they arrived! I ordered them with only the pink ribbon and then went and bought the turquoise and tied it on with the pink. The black paper is all sparkly too. I thought they came out really cute Can't wait for the big day!! It's coming so fast
  21. Thanks ladies! I wanted a fun font since its a beach wedding and I thought the colors and everything accented it nicely I am so glad to be done with them. Now on to the menu and welcome books!
  22. Hello Everyone! I finally finished my pre-wedding brochures and thought I would share. I am going to send these out with my luggage tags so everyone has those before their trip. I took a little from everyone else on the forum so unfortunately I can't take much credit for the info, but I designed them and I like how they turned out These were done in photoshop. outsidefinal.pdf insidefinal.pdf
  23. These are the best I've seen on here!! Does anyone know if she's shared the template anywhere? I can make them in photoshop but would be nice to just have her template
  24. Don't forget to make a list of who you gave what to. That way when you get to the resort you won't go crazy tracking down all of your stuff!
