  1. We worked with Violeta at first but decided that having our reception in a banquet hall was just not an option for us. She is very cordial; however, the responsiveness was lacking for us. (We are both in client service so our expectations are high). The lack of pictures of everything was really a problem for us as well. Considering that we are also not using the facilities for our wedding ceremony (San Jose Church), it just didn't make sense for us. Violeta is a new WC so I think in time she will have a better idea of what brides and grooms want. Something to keep in mind for you guys. You get a "free" wedding with a required number of guests so our reception is actually going to be our rehearsal dinner. They are limited to about 25 persons but it works out perfect for us! Good luck to the Barcelo brides.
  2. Violeta I think is overloaded. I've been in touch with her for a while and I think the problem is they have not done many weddings and there is definitely a language problem. It's taken longer than I expected but I think we're finally making progress with her. Good luck to you!
  3. Great review! Thanks for sharing. I had a quick question regarding Brown's Private Services. I am talking with them now and they said they need to be paid 3 days before services are rendered and I guess I'm not comfortable for paying for something in advance in full. Thoughts?
  4. Sorry if I got anyone in trouble, if so I didn't know either!

Okay, received word. I must say, I do like their options for weddings! Especially because some packages really give you the freedom to get your own vendors (i.e. photography- which is MOST important to us). Attached is the brochure she sent me for you guys to enjoy! 7. Thank you for the great advice. I guess my next question is: How can I find a listing/reviews of Cabo WC so that I can research the possibility of hiring an outside WC? Thanks!
  8. Can you post up the link to the resort? Did you shop Dreams or other resorts? We are really leaning towards Dreams but are still open before committing ! Thanks in Advance
  9. Advice: We are thinking of booking the location of our wedding at Dreams Cabo San Lucas; going with the "free" wedding package and then hiring a separate DW Coordinator to handle everything else, i.e. decorations, photography, music, makeup etc etc. Has anyone done it this way? If so, was it worth it or a hassle? On the other hand, if anyone did everything through the AI -- were you satisfied with the vendors they provided? Also -- is it worth it to get the biggest and most expensive package? Or better to go with the "free" on and just add on? Thanks!!!!!
  10. Nancy and Guy here!!! Wedding date: August 2010 Location: Cabo!!!!!! Can't wait to get our planning underway!
