  1. I LOVE Pattis! I tried on "Flora" from their 2009 Fall collection and it was absolutely gorgeous and flowy. Made of good quality materials. Unfortunately, I'm over on the west coast and in Canada, but if you're ever in the Vancouver area, I tried mine on at "Blush Bridal" in West Vancouver (Blush Bridal | Cocktail). Good luck!

JennyBell1, which area did you end up picking? I'm curious, because I'm the same (don't want the party atmosphere of Cancun, yet don't want to be in the middle of nowhere). Thanks!

Noonie, just one question: when are you getting married? The reason I ask is that my TA cautioned me about booking with brand new resorts. It usually takes them about a year to work out the kinks. She said she has had clients who booked with brand new resorts against her advice and would come back with food poisoning. I think my top choices are Barcelo Maya Palace (lots of recommendations from friends) or Iberostar (although I think this one's pricier). I haven't looked too much into details of wedding packages yet though. I'm currently also drooling over this complex called Mayakoba (Mayakoba :: this is living.). They have 5 different resorts/complexes. It's difficult finding information on them though, but can post if I find out anything.
  4. Hi Jammy, I'm a noob too and looking into the Banyan Tree as well. Looks like there are other threads on the Fairmont Mayakoba, but nothing on the Banyan Tree. If I find anything, I will post here. Good luck to both of us! When are you thinking of getting married? I'm thinking Dec 2010 for mine.

Hello! Trying to find my way around this forum! I'm from Vancouver, Canada. Wondering if anyone else is from there as well? Anyways, 1. name: Winnie 2. wedding date: don't know yet. Either June 2010 or December 2010 3. wedding location: don't know yet either. Either Mayan Riviera or somewhere in Hawaii. So much to research!! Hopefully I'll know the answers to #2 and #3 by the end of this week. Congratulations to all you brides and good luck planning your dream wedding!
