Thanks for the support IslandBride317! I find it very difficult to plan long distance, I don't do so well with limited control, but so far everything is on schedule. My dress is ready, my photographer/makeup artist who happens to be a dear friend of mine is coming down with me (she's an amazing photographer http://www.mariaphotography.com). One of my guests is a hairdresser and will do my hair and I designed my decoration, centerpieces and favors which I'm taking with me. You see I leave very little to luck and the unknown and that's why I joined this site. I love the support and solidarity among the members here. Everybody seems so nice and helpful, I feel better about familiarizing with the unknown through the experiences of past and future brides. Thanks again.

I've been researching this site for the last 6 months and I finally cracked and signed in. My fiance and I are getting married at the Dreams Los Cabos in less then 3 weeks. I thought that a destination wedding will be less of a hassle since you buy a package and you let the wedding coordinator do the rest. Surprise, surprise it ended up being more trouble and work for me. I just don't have the personality of a destination wedding bride (a bit of a control freak). I'm at the point of contacting DJ's. I spoke to a few and so far the most reasonably priced one is Paco Davila. Does anybody know anything about him? Any comments, recommendations?
