So...I found the ring. And I must say, it is pretty darn GORGEOUS! I didn't go searching for it. I was cleaning up the living room, socks have been known to fall between the couch cushions. I pulled out the cushion and there hiding behind it was a box. I couldn't resist pulling it out and looking at it. All now I have to wait for, is for him to talk to my dad. We're living with my parents right now, my dad isn't going to say no, but I want it done. Maybe I'll snap a picture of it this week.

My name is Shannon. I live in the Dallas, Tx area. No official proposal yet, but the date is set for June 26, 2010. It will be our 5 year anniversary. My parents also got married on their 5 year anniversary. We've already picked out, bought, and received the ring. It is hidden somewhere in the house. It is all I can do to resist from turning the house upside down to find it. We haven't set a location. We tossed around the idea of Florida, but not 100% sure yet. I'm coming here for ideas and budget guides, so I have something prepared when the time comes to talk about money.
