Hi We got married on 31st May at the Maya. I too was a bit aprehensive about using the spa for my wedding make-up and hair, Please do not worry, they did a fantastic job for me, i never knew i could look like this, and i never will look so again. I was blown away with the results, very well worth it. If you are any thing like me and dont wear much make-up or dont know even where to begin, then trust these girls they really know what they are doing. hi I am really pleased with the dress although the pictures are not very good quality. I have asked them to alter it slightly, as the dress i wanted did not have the split at the front so evident. I have asked them to extend either the left or right side so that it conceals the split. Will post pictures when i get them. Thankyou for your comments, cant wait to see the real thing.

Hi Im flying with Thomsons too, and im going to take mine as hand luggage, there is no way im putting it in the hold, might never see it again. Katie - i dont think mine will fit in a bag/case so small either, but im gonna have a good try nearer the time.

Hi Ladies Just a quick question, Do I have to wait for Mayra (w/c) to contact me with regards to the details of our wedding ie; Ceremony Location, Flowers, Cake etc. Its 11 weeks till our wedding and ive heard nothing yet. Am i just being too impatient !!

Hi Ladies Finally finished our wedding invites and distributed to all our guests. Although we have 10 people confirmed and booked , since invites have gone out 4 more people have expressed an interest in joining us - how exciting. I know our wedding is going to be a small intimate affair, but just perfect for us. The only sad bit is my brother and his family cant afford to join us and my partners sister and her family wont be able to join us either. We kind of knew this when we decided to book a destination wedding, but kept hoping they just might be able to come. (i just keep hoping to win the lottery then they wont have to worry.) Anyway i`m starting to get very excited now with only 3 months to go, just waiting to here from hotel now so that we can start planning the details.

I know you are dissapointed with the fit, but it is easier to alter, if the dress is bigger. The models in the pictures are way thin dont forget so the dress will look slightly different on everybody. Hopefully you will find a seamstress to fix the bits your not happy with. good luck

KH Your dress is fab, you look stunning in it. EWOK I am so sorry that your not happy with your dress, i do hope you find a way to fix what is wrong. If your brave enough please post pictures. My dress should be finished any day now and i`m just waiting for the proof pictures. When i get them I will try and post so that you can all see.

Hi Never thought about the hotel charging to deliver them, might have to deliver them myself in that case. I have found some canvas tote bags on ebay at a cheap price. Had the idea that i could print my monogram onto some t-shirt transfer paper and then iron the design on to the bags. Way cheaper than getting them custom made especially here in the UK. I though that in my OOT bags i would include a fun caribbean cocktail menu which the guests could try asking to be made during their stay. Thankyou so very much for all your information, You had definatley got me thinking about OOT and I am going to get some. Thinking about including Playing cards, lipsalves, Puzzle books. I think taking the bags to the reception is a really good idea at least that way your not having to track your guest down or go searching for their rooms, and they will have their gifts to use at the start of the holiday. I thought about asking reception to deliver them to the rooms upon the guests arrival. Going to have a look at vistaprint to cost the bags, will let you know how i get on.

Hi I have received a quote from gianinarbridal to make my dress $189 to include shipping, which i think is very good. Have had a hard time deciding between all three manufacturers, Landy, Duosheng, Gianinarbridal. I think i am leaning towards Gianinarbridal as you only have to pay for half first, then get your proof pictures, before they finish the dress. This makes me feel more confident in ordering from them.

Hi I had decided to order my dress from Landybridal. When i emailed Lucy to ask for a standard size in the dress she advised me that this was not returnable as she thought the custom size would fit me better. ( I did give her my actual measurements as i was thinking about the custom size at the time on their advice). As i was concerned about the quality of the finish i wanted the option to return the dress if I decided that i didnt like it. I am looking into Duosheng and Gianinarbridal for my dress. Will let you know how i get on.

Hi Ladies I had the same dilemma, but i think i have decided that i will buy a veil so that i have the option to either wear it or not wear it. If i dont buy one i will want one !!!
