I joined that site that Erica mentioned, but I had to join the Canadian version and honestly can't remember what the site was so I doubt I'll be keeping up with that. The one good thing is that we've all connected on FB so you can always hunt someone down that way. I'm good with continuing to post here when we have a chance. You guys are the first people that I am telling-- I just don't know who I want to tell!! I am thinking of getting some alcohol free champange for the night and telling the bartender to just serve me that because I am worried about getting tipsy and drunk at my reception. There are some very interesting things that are happening... maybe tmi-- by I was reading up on symptoms and i read that your boobs may hurt... Ummmm.... I'm thinking Yea-- I hear you there... OUCH even walking up and down steps. I also want to find out the sex of the baby because I would get soooo sick of people asking me is it a boy or a girl because I only had lime green and yellow colors!!
  2. Yea for February Brides!!! My best advice book your plane tickets as early as you can-- we got great deals. Also once you pick a resort work with a travel agent because your guests will think that you are thier own personal travel agent and drive you up a wall. Have fun planning ladies! It will be awesome!

So, I haven't been on this site for awhile because I have been super busy, and researching other sites...For those of you worrying about trying to get preggo, don't worry, all I can say right now is-it may end up being easier than expected, relax, it will happen-TRUST ME! Are you trying to tell us something with the TRUST you?? I am trying not to put to much into the pregnant thing, but I am now 2 days late with my period. I might just die a little after giving Justin so much crap about "You just think you can get everything on the first try" I mean seriously..... Who actually get pregant on the first try!?!?!? I will keep you all informed because I am back in NYC and I already decided not to take a test until I am back in Wisconsin with Justin (so not until after easter). Here would be the other problem with being preggers now... our AHR is on April 24th. We already decided we want to wait to tell your famililes for that "just in case something happens in the first trimester" So how do I get around the drinking with our friends and family??
  4. I just spent the weekend with my friend who got married at the Moon one year before us and we fessed up that we got married before we went. She admitted to me that if she had to do it again she would have saved the money and hassle associated with it and just gotten married in the States.
  5. Tiffani- Glad to hear your wedding went well!! I admire you for finding the time to post your review. I still barely have time to breathe!
  6. Hi Ladies-- I am still alive and I have to agree with Timberly... I need to get my life back into shape (along with my body-- I've been eating everything now that my wedding is done.. keep forgetting about that April 24th have to wear the dress again!!) Work has been chaos, picking colors and flooring and when to move stuff... UGH! Erica- You are so funny with your planning for the baby... hopefully it happens soon. I am not that ambicious yet. I just know when AF is suppose to be here and if shes late then I'll start to wonder. Chris-- I would be like WTF?!??! Where the #@($ are my pictures?!?! Start stalking him. Krista- Your reception will be a blast and ice cream sounds fun. July Krista- I am so bummed about you not being able to find a good group of the July girls to meet up with. We are all here to hear about your wedding and the ups and downs. I agree with Ali that you will forget that you had people who didn't show up. Susie- I am happy you kept your house cause i plan on sitting poolside there at some point this summer ) Ali- I said it before and I will keep saying it over and over.. I love your photos. So cute and I am glad that I wasn't the only one that was crying.
  7. Hi ladies-- I am so wiped out from trying to move from one state to another and pack up 2 houses. Susie-- As someone with a Real Estate license the right one at the right time is the only perfect house. You will know when its "the" house, but shells is right make sure it has enough room for all of us to come and hang out! TeNeil- I used mypublisher.com too for my book and it turned out good. KristaH- I see that you posted photos to facebook I can't wait to see them! KristaB- 3 more months!!! Ahhhhh..... getting excited! I can't believe that the photographers are dragging thier feet and not getting back to you guys. I would be sooo upset.
  8. On our wedding day they said to expect over 10 day period of watching the weather report: rain, sun, cloudy, partially cloudy and thunderstorms! So you can imagine my suprise when we had 80 degrees and sun.... we had lots of squity eyes and sweaty groomsmen! I wouldn't worry about it until the day of the wedding its extra stress you don't need.
  9. Susie-- Did I see you wrote that this one you showed us is SMALLER SMALLER?? it has room for a pool table and a huge kitchen! I do agree with Timberly that I love the open floor plan to it. Go for it! Nice backyard too!
  10. I hope you guys have found time to breathe because I feel like I haven't. I have spend 11 of our 19 days married away in other states and when I am here I am working in the office until almost 7 every night! We close on our condo on the 15th and we need to go in and repaint so much of it (one room has 3 hot pink walls a 1 lime green on) and rip out the baby blue carpet that she installed 2 years ago.... (the lady is crazy!!) So I have been so busy I can't even get my planning thread or review up yet uggghhh!

I am going with the free package which includes a bouquet. I emailed her asking if I could have a colourful bouquet, dont mind what flowers just tropical and bright. However she told me I ony have two options avaliable and they are both white. Lovely dont get me wrong but I had my heart set on a tropical bouquet. Plus the prices of bridesmaids and buttonholes is so expensive. I worked out that to have the bouquet I dont like, 2 bridesmaids and 6 buttonholes with two corsages it would be £395. almost all the wedding party are coming home the day after the wedding and it feels like such a waste. In the end I went with real touch flowers by bloominggorgeous.net. the lady was so helpful and customised what I wanted even thou I had left it late to order. the total price for everything with a bouquet i love comes to £205 including p+p. Plus I get to keep them!!! We gets loads of baggage allowance with Virgin (2 x 23kg suitcase per person) so transporting them wont be a problem. I am a little disapointed in Moon Palace. I would of though tropical flowers would be avaliale in the tropics!!?? WHEN you get there... not before!! Tell them that you want your free bouquet to be colorful and put onto the table... I did and they even split it into two and it made it look like I had bought flowers for my table. They will bend over backwards to get you what you want.

I think that it rolls down to expectations versus their kindness.....they will go out of there way once you are there to make things roll smoothly as a kindness. Does that make sense? I feel much better now and am off to figure out the wording of our actualy invitations that I haven't sent out yet! LOL I agree with you 100% once you get there they are amazing!!! Just stick it out and once you arrive they will make your dreams come true!

  14. Timberly-- I think people wait to give gifts and money until they are invited somewhere that they are attending the event. I know I don't just send money to relatives unless they invite me to the wedding, birthday -- it I don't matter enough to be asked to come then I guess you don't matter enough to get a gift or money. I realize I may be selfish but i am who I am. The joint money stuff-- We are keeping seperate accounts and just adding a set amount of money into our joint one every month so that way we can keep our independance and he doesn't know how obsessed with TJ Maxx I am! lol Krista- I hear you on being to tired to function and wanting to be in bed some nights at 8 pm! You are 100% right as long as you're together thats all that matters! OK ladies-- I am off to bed. have a good night!
  15. Hi Guys- I am not much help with the seats or petals. I didn't do private and I went on the cheap side and didn't do any of it, but at the dinner they staff put out my rose petals.
  16. You look so beautiful and your family looks so amazing together! All of your hard work and efforts that you put into your wedding turned out so beautiful! I can't wait for us to get together-- did you get a video that i get to watch??
  17. I hope that you guys are all having amazing weddings!!! Congrats to the new brides and the soon to be brides!
  18. Susie-- You defianatly should let her mom know what a terrible mother she is-- that is just unreal! We had a date night last night went and saw the Blind Side (I LOVED it) and then tonight we went and stuffed our faces at red lobster. Now I have to leave tommorrow until wens. ( I totally understand what you mean by honeymoon let down.
  19. Cal&Mark- They are attached to the walls, but they work out fine. Veronica- How are the plans coming along? Getting excited? Nervous? I have to get all of my stuff together and photos for the review... its going to take a while.
  20. Krista-- I love hearing about your wedding planning! I/We all know exactly what you are feeling and going through with the stress and excitment! Its awesome and I can't get enough of hearing about it! For the rest of you ladies- I also miss hearing from all of you. My biggest regrets would be i totally forgot to get photos with my bridesmaids!!! I have 1!! I got so wrapped up into the day and excitment that it took me until monday to realize it and my bridesmaids & bridesmen left on sun! I was really sad! Also we forgot to get shots of just me-- What bride forgets that! lol Oh well the ones that did work out were amazing and one of my favorites was when we got out of our wedding clothes and went to a swing bar during the break from the wedding to the dinner. Its my profile pic on facebook-- I still have my tiara in in the photo, but we are so happy and relaxed it rocks. I got my ring saudered together yesterday-- that was another relief off my mind they kept rubbing together and my band is 70+ years old so i didn't want it ruined. Hope you guys are all doing well--- I got "aunt flo" during my vacation and Justin thinks he is Mr. Awesome and will get me preggers right away, I keep telling him.... not going to happen. We will see who is right... I can't wait to see the baby thread start! I do knit-- just really suck at it when it comes to finishing a project.
  21. I just realized I never actually posted a photo of my flowers.... so here is one of my flowers, the boutineers and the single white flower that i laid in the sand (in honor of his father who passed away in 2000)
  22. I sent my starfish back to Tricia to write in the journal-- Erin it should be on its way to you soon.
  23. Here is the cake that we got and we loved it... it even tasted ok. Not great just ok!
  24. I did the free and added onto the wedding package-- I went super cheap though and added on just the videographer (worth every single penny of them), a 2 layer cake and the horse and carriage. I was fine with it looking a little bland because the backdrop on the beach was beautiful! I brought my own bouquet and they seperated my free one into the two that you see at the bottom of the tables-- the wind kept blowing them off
