I used them as well & I received the paper work back in about a week. i ended up paying 350.00 for their services because i was married once before & that required extra paper work. I am searching this site to see WHEN i will receive my marriage license though We got married on May 28 2010 & i was told the marriage license would be mailed to me with in 5 weeks...im worried because i havent received them. Any one know how long this takes?

Found your review! May I ask...did you choose the chill out chic package? Thats what it look like in the pics... This is the package I chose. If you wouldnt mind me asking, how much did you end up spending for the wedding part? Im so concerned about getting there & them charging me for little things that i may not be aware of. Did you do centerpeices? The more detail the better!

Your review made me even more excited to also be taking the boat excursion! Can I ask what meal $ you choose? I was thinking the 100.00 per person -lobster dinner. Also, i saw you said you used your ipod...but in another review i thought there was live entertainment. Was this an extra fee maybe? What time did you set sail?!

I plan on using the la barcaza as well! our wedding is may 28 (friday)2010 and just like BOVKIM we plan on "thanking" our guests the following day w/ this lil excursion. Ive heard great reviews about the food and entertainment. I think it will be a great trip! It also gives me an excuse to buy another more informal wedding dress!

Those are great! I have been searching for my perfect formal invite as well. I think i found it! ladies who havent found their invite yet, try Unique Wedding Invitations, save the date cards, custom handmade wedding invitations, wedding shower invitations I choose the seaside stars ~ starfish wedding invites.

Im glad to hear some else with the same dilema. My only reason for not doing a symbolic ceremony is because I dont want to be married before the "wedding day". It just wont feel right to me. My guests may not know, but Ill always know. Im also perplexed about having to pay the higher fee for the legal ceremony & the judge possibly not being there. But I look at it this way, by the time the day comes Ill be so happy w/my surroundings that I wont even sweat it. I dont really care who officiates the wedding, just that I sign the legal documents that day.

we personally decided to send out Save the Dates to everyone. We choose a post card type of save the date w/an RSVP. It wasnt too expensive and even though I mostly knew who would and wouldnt respond, I can say that I put the invite out to EVERYONE. I didnt want anyone to feel left out. I attached a small print out of the resort hotel website for a "sneak peak" and a small map of the island in requards to miami so people knew exactly where it was. (punta cana)

Once I receive all the RSVP's a formal invite will be sent w/travel agent info and a hotel brochure.

One of my bridesmaids just sent me a phone pic of a bouqet from michaels that was adorable. I trust her judgement, and she said they were nice looking in person. And at a great price! Ill save a couple hundred dollars if i go this route. I will use the resorts fresh flowers, but i am thinking of using the ones from michaels for the bridesmaids.
