  1. so i found a good idea on this board to provide some sort of lei or bead necklace so your guests can identify the people there for your wedding... i am thinking that and a thank you note with travel info is good. i am not sure i want to spend money on a bunch of stuff who knows whether or not people will use.
  2. think i've decided to skip these and just maybe have a welcome letter and one mexico-themed item in each room. cuts down on costs and things to do. if i had a bag of stuff to assemble, however, i think before you leave is best... that way you can just enjoy being at the resort as much as possible.
  3. victoria's secret sells stuff you should check out... cups you tape on... they won't hurt, just practice first so you feel like you've got it down.
  4. i have to admit i was disappointed i was a huge fan of love actually and he's just not that into you... it wasn't on those levels.
  5. yes you deserve it!! that's sweet of your man to plan that. have fun!
  6. i hate pressure... just be firm with them and say you are having a very intimate ceremony and leave it at that. people seem to be mad no matter what you do. sucks!
  7. thanks for all the info. we are set on omni cancun but are also concerend with privacy - not just at this resort but any resort. how are you guys ensuring some extra privacy?
  8. is there anywhere to order real postcards from mexico online?

Unfortunately I do not know how to help you get your boxes back the problem is the tequila as it is a liquid and therefore banned, so if there is some way of excluding this from your package, you should then be ok. Before shipping anything you should be aware of the customs rules of the country you are shipping to, as well as the courier company - Freight Terms and Conditions - General Terms and Conditions at FedEx.com Here's Fed-Ex's restrictions: You are prohibited from tendering the following items for shipment, and they will not be accepted: - Cash, currency, collectible stamps and coins. - Live animals, except as provided in the Live Animals and Ornamental Marine Life (Including Live Fish) section. (Edible seafood, such as live lobsters, crabs or other types of fish and shellfish for human consumption, is acceptable, provided the shipper is in compliance with all local, state and federal laws.) - Animal carcasses. Notwithstanding any other provision of the FedEx Service Guide, we are not liable for delay of, loss of or damage to a shipment of any prohibited item. The alcohol comes under the point relating to 'products that are wet, leaking, or omit an odor of any kind' Hope this helps someone!! this helps everyone!! thank you for posting!

  16. we haven't really decided, but i love the khaki suits... maybe with a short sleeved shirt underneath so he can take off the coat. a co-worker of mine got married on a beach and everyone wore white short-sleeved button up shirts and black shorts... looked way cute. i want something a tad bit more formal, but that's another idea for ya.
  17. i agree with the tripadvisor suggestion. plus, post on the forums there to get additional feedback after reading some reviews. they also sort hotels by popularity and some comment on weddings they see there or have been to. you should be able to search specifically for that too.
