i love this idea!! I think its perfectly ok to do it bc it reminds you of him. Picking some random song about a dan/daughter wouldn't be as meaningful for you and you may then always wish you would have done Hotel California with him. If you're worried about ppl thinking its weird or anything, maybe do a toast/speech beforehand and explain it--it may even bring a tear to Dad's eye!!

Thats one tricky thing about DW! having a photog @ the location and then one where you are from...cuz usually engagement session is included/free if you book your wedding. Hmmmm...I got mine done & am thrilled that I did! But I am very sentimental/love pictures...also my sister & brother in law are wedding photographers...so thast a deal I would never pass up!!!!!. If you don't care so much then its probably something you can forgo. Maybe just have a friend take some nice shots so you have something & can use them for save the dates or anything if you decidde you want to?
