  1. That is a cool site. I do like the minimum requirement, although we ended up getting a lot of napkins for our wedding. Personalized napkins is THE way to go for weddings, that's what we are doing for ours and we couldn't be happier. I would also recommend cups and coasters just because the companies usually give you a discount if you buy different products, and in bulk. Etc.
  2. Those are very nice. I do like the 50 minimum item requirement, we went through a different site and theirs was 100. I'm actually kind of addicted to getting things personalized, we have an entire drawer of personalized favors and our wedding hasn't even happened yet. I especially like the matchbook, that's a good idea for future parties.
  3. Those do look really good, if you've got the time it's definitely possible to make some good looking DIY personalized cups. Some good tips on how to print out the images. I think that's pretty much how the companies do it. The only problems is that if you don't leave the transparencies to bond long enough that they'll come off in the heat of the dishwasher, so like Morgan said make sure you practice on a few. Very awesome thread

I wasn't saying that all guests of every wedding shouldn't have personalized tote bags or beach towels. I do this everyday for a lot of brides and every bride is different. So i apologize if any of you brides took my reply the wrong way. I'm simply saying no matter what you girls decide you guests will be excited of whatever you choose because you thought of them by giving them gifts. Shana Merl I'm sure they will be happy with whatever you do decide to get. I might have been confused as well. Sorry if there was confusion.
  5. We began by buying small inexpensive things that we personalized with our picture, names, and date of our wedding. Napkins and cups were the first things we got. We thought that the cups could be reused and a constant reminder of our special day for our guests, while the napkins are an even more modestly priced party favor. We got 250 of each (our guest list is 200, so we figure we'd have a little extra). We also got regular napkins from the same site that we wouldn't have a problem using. Hope this helps!
  6. You definitely shouldn't sweat over having personalized items, it's your wedding lol. We got personalized cups and napkins just because of what Divine Embroidery said with people enjoying something to remember the special day by. The company we used got our favors done extremely quickly. Your wedding is coming up mighty soon, but if you really wanted something personalized they might be able to help you out. Then again, I don't think anyone will be upset if you decide not to personalize. Good luck!
  7. We are definitely going with personalized cups and napkins for our wedding. The napkins are very affordable and we figure that we can get about 250 of those as favors and use simple napkins for the dirty work. The cups with our name on them are also generously priced. Both are going to have our names on them as well as our picture and the date of our wedding.
