Two weeks for our wedding too! Super Excited!! Our flight has been sold out as well as all of our carrier's rooms. Looks like there's going to be quite the party going on out there! Hope they're ready for all of us! :-)

We haven't sent anything really to our wedding coordinator yet. I'm planning on sending the form in this week or early next week. You can make amendments to it as well once it is sent in. We have chosen the Royal Package and the Beach Reception as we have 70+ guests attending. I was in contact with the wedding coordinator last month and she said that we still had time to send in our form and haven't heard anything from her since...so I think you are probably in good shape. I would suggest dealing with the wedding coordinator directly. They're pretty good at getting back to you. Did you get the pictures of the bouquets and stuff to choose from? Happy Planning!

Hi All, Haven't posted in a while, just wanted to give an update. Our wedding is booked to take place at the Grand Sunset Princess Resort on April 23, 2010. We are arriving in Mexico on April 20th and leaving on April 27th. I just recently booked with Playaweddings to do our Trash the Dress photography..WAHOO!! We are really looking forward to that experience. We chose not to do full photography during the actual ceremony and reception as i'm sure we will have enough photographs taken by our guests. We are more interested in different kind of wedding photography, not just the standard formal wedding pictures...more relaxed, casual and fun. The package we chose with the resort is the "Royalty Package". We are also having a private beach reception as we are expecting between 50-55 guests in attendance. And that's that, so far! Any information and/or tips would be great! Only 5 more months to go!!! Happy Planning All!!!

I believe the day you land counts as a day.

Hey there 2010 brides! Our big day is around April 2010. We are interested in the RIU Palace, Riviera Maya. Unfortunately I don't have a specific date yet...still waiting on the resort to release their 2010 packages...which makes it hard to move forward with anything else. Hoping they'll release them soon and we can get this show on the road! Happy Planning fellow Bride-to-Be's!!!

I have been in contact with the RIU Palace in Mayan...they have told me that they will not provide me with available dates for our wedding that we would like to have in April 2010 until November 2009. This seems a little last minute to me...i would like to have my save the dates out by this May if possible as well as our actual invitations out by September. Have any of you incurred this situation?? How far in advance were you able to get a date? I'm getting quite frustrated and thinking about seeking out other resorts to see if I have better luck. Thanks for your help :-)

Hey, I'm finding the same problem...and I'm only in the beginning stage! eek! I am having a hard time just getting dates of availability for the wedding so we can just book it. Very frustrating as my agent really needs a set date to do anything further. Good luck to you guys!! :-)
