I've done the South Beach diet. I was able to lose 20 pounds in roughly 3 months. Did great as long as I stuck to it. Like any diet as soon as you go back to your old ways, the weight seems to sneak back. You're allowed to eat a lot of really good food...things you could fix yourself...which is what I liked about it. I was relatively easy to do. Just stick to it and you'll do great! Good luck!

Hello other PR brides! I am a newly engaged PR bride. My fiance and I want a small, quaint ceremony on the beach near San Juan. We will have less than 10 guests and will be leaving on a cruise on 12/13/09. Looking at 12/12/09 as the wedding date. I'm thinking that the first thing I need to do is find a location. Maybe a hotel that offers beach weddings? We'd like to keep the ceremony simple and inexpensive (under $500). Any recommendations?

Hi, everyone! My name is Susan. My fiance and I are planning a Dec 2009 wedding. It will be a second marriage for both and we both have children (ages 14 and 19). Anyway, we are leaving from Puerto Rico on Dec 13, 2009 for a cruise (Caribbean Princess). We're hoping to get married sometime on that trip (either the day before the cruise or during it). Only a small number of family members will be with us so we're not looking for anything extravagant. Quaint and romantic would be more like it. Any ideas? We really would like a beach location with nothing more than the officiant and our family. Not looking to spend a lot of money, since we'd rather spend that on our vacation. The cruise line offers wedding services, but they run around $2000. Would like to see what else we can come up with on our own. We'll be in San Juan, St Lucia, Barbados, St Thomas and Tortola. Would love to hear from anyone with wedding planning experience on these islands. Thanks and happy planning to you all!
