I def know most of the resorts use bottled water even for their ice. but since its a restaurant I would give them a call just to make sure. You dont want your guests to have stomach issues after a lovely wedding!

I was there in July 07 and also June 08 and both times all you had to do was call in the morning and make your reservations. It was 2 couples total so we would call to make reserv for one night at one restaurant for 4 ppl and our friends would call and do the same for a different rest and on another night for the same 4 ppl. That wasn't very smart on their part to change that to where you now have to wait in line?!? That just seems so inconvenient to do that when most people like myself rather be soaking in the sun on the beach!!

I guess its always good to have your Ipod and also a couple CD's just in case!! Its never a bad thing to be overly prepared!! Its good to know about the Ipod hook up b/c I am compiling a "Wedding Playlist" on mine.

I've been to Riu Ocho Rios twice and can tell you the reason we keep going back and also the reason we are getting married there is the beach and also the fact that every room has an ocean view. That is something that you cant pass up!! Its not as long as maybe beaches in NEgril but it sure is blue and very swimmable. Plus if you enjoy snorkeling there is a good small reef and also a bit farther out to see is an even bigger really good reef and the best part is that its right off the boyes of the resort beach. so you could easily swim out or take a small boat out to the larger reef.

Same adapters as the US so you wont need anything. Just keep in mind if you difuse your hair like I do. You most likely will have to bring your own hairdryer! There is an outlet in the bathroom and also right next to the mini bar in the room. Those are the most convenient outlets. Hope the info helps!!

Congrats on picking Riu Ochi. Its such a pretty property and im sure you'll love it there. I have been on vacation there twice and its gorgeous and a reason why we decided to have our wedding there.

Congrats!! OMG your pictures are amazing and Im so happy that I could finally see what my own wedding may look like there. Its nice how they had the tables set up b/c we will also have about the same amount of people for our wedding. Everything was beautiful!! Congrats again!!
