Hi I am also from Surrey, BC I just got qoutes back from a TA in North Van for Feb 2010 departing on ethier the 21 or 22. The thing when booking this far in advance you don't know the flight details until they come out. Here is what I got I would appreciate some feed back on what you think of the pricing? That is weird I just put my Feb 25, 2010 wedding on hold a few weeks back with Claudia the WC she told me I have 5 months to confirm. And that she would send me the 2010 prices when they come out in 3 months give or take?? Its seems like everyone does things differently down there I would call again to double check?

Hi I am also from Vancouver BC and have put my wedding date on hold for the Barcelo Maya for Feb 25 2010. I have talked to a few travel agents already and have one in my extended family. I was told the prices for Feb wont be out until end of April or early May. I was told I could double check in the begginning of April but they probably won't be out. I would imagine the prices for April/May won't be out for a few months after that. I don't think the put the prices for 2010 all at once but i could be wrong. From what I understand they are updated monthly. I was worried about this to because I wanted to be booked at least a year in advance and get the STD out. The 3 TA's that I talked to said that I would have plenty of time and not to worry. So I guess that is what I am going to have to do. I am just going to let family know verbally and through email. And get the STD out when I can!

Wow what beautiful pictures! I am also getting married at the Barcelo Feb 25, 2010. Did the WC arrange the DJ for you? If not did you have to pay a guest pass I tried clicking on the link above and couldn't get any info maybe I will give a call when I have my date confirmed.....Considering I still have a bit of a ways to go. Also if you don't mind me picking your brain... Could you give me a layout on how your wedding went..... What time the cermony was at, Did you have a cocktil hour after, How much time you took for pics, What time did you have reception at, What time did dancing start, Did you buy additional hours for open bar? I don't know just wondering how all this works..... Do they shut you down if you don't buy the additional hours if so by what time and is it still $9 per person for each additional hour? I got this menu from one of the other girls on the unofficial barcelo maya site. I have now been told that the menu I posted above(the 3 course dinner) Is for the banquet rooms only because they are the less expensive package so you get a less expensive dinner. Which is good to know considering the under the stars package is quite a bit more expensive..... At least all that extra money isn't just for a beach set up! Like someone said above surf and turf are still available as long as you are having/paying for a reception on the beach! Sorry for not clearing that up sooner!
