  1. Polling your expert opinions: I know many of you have stayed at Dreams resorts -- one or more of them, and I want to know from the travel experts, which of their resorts is the nicest one? And why? Since Secret resorts are under the same management, interested in these also.
  2. What is up with California? It seems noone in the state is getting married! I just moved to Bay area after 14 years in LA. Love it down there. Adjusting to life up here. If you are close to the city of LA and have any questions, don't hesitate to write. Best, Leeza
  3. My fiancee is Mexican and suggested we should avoid the tourist zone. Is there a Mexican market that you know about -- maybe even in a neighboring town?
  4. Looking for your recommendations of local markets in Puerto Vallarta where we can purchase local beach bags, wine, crafts, and snacks for our guests. We are hoping to buy these after we arrive in Puerto Vallarta arrive, as opposed to lugging on the plane. Thanks for your input!
  5. My family is from New York; and his family is from Mexico City; so we are going to have Spanish-speaking-only and English-speaking-only guests at our wedding. Trying to think of creative ways to bring these two families and worlds together, to bridge the language gap. If anyone has any bi-lingual rehearsal dinner mixer ideas, please share! Also, looking to purchase some electronic translators (Spanish-English) for our guests. Found some at this website: Translators - Franklin Electronic Publishers Does anyone have experience with any brands or models you recommend? Thanks. Leeza
  6. Your dress is stunning! Sounds like you scored with the photographer. Would love to see your photos and video if you decide to post. Also, the chair sashes look terrific. Where did you buy them? I am getting married at Dreams in Puerto Vallarta in December and would love to speak with you directly about the Ultimate package and billing. Will forward my contact info if you accept private messages. Thanks! Leeza
  7. Definitely #2. However, if you feel ambivalent about the dress at all, my advice would be to keep trying new dresses. When I finally found my dress, I just knew it was the one. It was completely different emotionally than any of the other 101,000 other dresses that I had tried on and came close to buying. There was no ambivalence whatsoever. I put it on and breathed a sigh of relief, like coming home. I think when you find your dress, the one that was made for you and only you, you'll know it. Meanwhile, keep the faith! Best, Leeza

  9. Hey, Tracy! I'm December 20, 2008! Getting butterflies, it feels so soon. What do you have left to do? Best, Leeza
  10. Looking to organize pre-wedding Whale Watching expedition for party of approximately 40 people. On a tight budget. Interested in referrals and pricing. Any recommendations? Best, Leeza
  11. Would love to host an East Bay Bridal get together next Monday night. If you're interested, let me know where you will be coming from, and we will pick a central locale to share food and bridal intelligence -- Berekeley Oakland Walnut Creek Pleasanton-Dublin Look forward to meeting you all! Best, Leeza
  12. What a terrific wedding mailer! Love your guest book and place cards. Hoping you might share where you got them! Best, Leeza
  13. Stacey, Would love to speak with you about your Dreams experience, particularly details regarding budget and expenses, as I am heading for my wedding at a Dreams resort in December and trying to put together an accurate budget. Best, Leeza
  14. The secret is definitely the lime juice! Makes the guacamole really rip. My latin lover financee taught me also, that if you want it not to turn brown, simply keep the pit (or as they call it in Spanish, bones) and pit this in the finished mix! Enjoy.
