  1. Jenn-I am right there with you.* I spent the entire day today searching for a very creative theme for my luggage tags and all the other goodies that I want to put in my welcome bags.* My problem is, I live in a small town that does not have anything but a wal-mart.* Thats right no Michaels, Craft Stores nothing.* So after strolling down every aisle in the famous wal-mart I left with nothing and started once again looking on line to find something that isn't as creative as I wanted to be but will work.* I am working on it right now and I will upload a picture after they are done.* I just feel like there is so much to do, so little I know about this entire process and so many questions that others need answered.* A list would probably be a very good thing to do tomorrow as well.
  2. I finally decided to start my diet a month ago.* Although I really dont need to drop a lot of weight, I just want to look the best I can maybe get rid of my marms (man arms.)* I have really been trying to eating right.* I have traded in my crab melt sandwiches for a salad with blackened salmon on top (with the dressing on the side)* And I am making sure I take time out of my day (normally at night after work) to get some exercise.* I really dont have a routine but I am speed walking everyday for about 45 minutes and doing weights every other day. I have found I feel refreshed after 45 minutes of exercise and it gives me some time to myself to not think about work or wedding plans and think about how wonderful life is. So far I have lost 3 pounds. Good luck with your plans and let us know if you need some encouragement to start working out.
  3. Thanks for the info. I am just starting to design our luggage tags and I think this will really help.
  4. Hello brides to be! I have also been looking for this thread for a while now, I guess I still dont completely understand how this forum works but I am learning. My FI and I are getting married at the CasaMagna Marriott in Cancun and we are very excited. I am a little nervous (now even more after reading how far everyone else is in planning for the big day) I really have a question for anyone out there that is getting married in Mexico and understands how we can get legally married and have a religious ceremony at the same time. Our pastor is going to come down to marry us but I am wondering if we need to have a justice of the peace or someone in Mexico to also be a part of our ceremony to make it legal. Does anyone have an answer to this? Besides that, I am really going to get down to business and start looking for all of those details that normal brides had done 10 months ago. Wish me luck and I will keep you posted.
  5. I know exactly how you are feeling. My FI and I spent hours looking on-line but could never come up with the perfect invite. There were some that we liked but they did not come in any fun colors. So we found one that we liked but did not come in fuschia and we went to our local printing shop and they are going to design it for us. Of course they will change a few things but it is going to be exactly what we want and at 1/2 the price of going through an on-line invite company. The also printed our STD's and did a great job.
  6. Thanks for everyone's help. I actually have decided on Vanessa Vargas. I really like her work and she is available. So now I can officially check one more thing off the to do list!!
  7. Your pictures are beautiful... I would really love to know where your mom got her dress. My mom is still trying to find one and has not been very lucky. She must have purchased it a while ago but maybe the designer would have something similar.
  8. Does anyone have any suggestions of a photographer and videographer in the Cancun area? We are getting married at the CasaMagna Marriott in four months and the only thing I have ready is the wedding site and a dress (which I love and I will post a picture once I figure out how to do it.) I am in need of every detail from flowers to a photographer to welcome bags. I would love all the help I can get!
  9. My Name is Jolee and I am getting married to a wonderful man (ryan) in Cancun Mexico on the 21st of Feb. 2009.* I am so excited to get married outside the united states because traveling has always been my passion!
