Just wondering to all you brides with your weddings so close.. did you end up getting that promo its all about the bride?? If so how did they work it towards you getting money off your final bill or resort credit or whatever? If any of you have any information or got this promotion and can help me understand the concept of it a little better that would be great!!! Thanks ladies!

Here is a link to their pricing through Karisma hotels.. which is one of the resorts that I am using.. not sure if their pricing differs from this website or not.. but if you email them they are great at getting back to you in a day or two!!! I think they are very reasonable and love their work as well which is why I am booking them as our photographer!!! I think the ceremony site is up to you... there is the four pole chappah thing directly on the beach right beside the break or whatever it is... then there is the on pier gazebo thing too.. and then I think there is one other spot for your ceremony.. so I think its all in where you would like it to be...? I want mine to be right on the beach with the four poles and fabric beside the break.. but have seen some great wedding pics of it at the pier that appears to be now rebuilt! As for the reception, the only thing I know is it can be at the restaurant that is included or on the beach or I'm sure there are a couple other options as well...

I am so excited for Nicky... her wedding is on Friday!!! Lucky girl!!! I am so jealous!! I still have to wait till Nov!!! Anyone else excited to see her pics when she comes back Wish her all the luck... :)

Hey Evelyn! I am actually sending out my invites this week sometime... and our RSVP date to get some numbers in is march 7th. We have a deposit thing set up with my TA and that deadline is April 7th just so that she can hold the block of rooms for us. Then the guests can continue to pay up to 60days prior... so that is my reasoning for sending so soon... but it gives them the oppportunity to put their deposit down and then make payments when they can. Its going to work out great I think!! At least by march I will know our numbers!

Carolyn! Good to know names instead of screen names! thats so funny... cause we are so slow in our office right now that I am basically planning my wedding all day!!! Maybe not a good thing to admit... ah well... non of my employers or co-workers are on here so how will they know?? About the fans I found 2 great websites actually that carry the exact same fans and such except one of the sites has free shipping over 100 which my order would be and cheaper fans.. but literally the same.. I have asked the other company if they can price quote and they have yet to get back to me. I have found some great Canadian websites for raffia fans.. cause originally thats what I wanted to go with... if you want them I will look them up and post them for you Let me know.. You know sometimes smaller is better... my wedding party.. wasn't really going to be a wedding party.. like non formal titles or anything... but turns out that they basically are.. so I'm happy with that too.. so exciting only 2 days of work left!!! YAY!!

My wedding is also scheduled for 3pm.. however mine is in Nov so I think mine will be just right temp wise... guess I'll find out! Thats cool I too am ordering silk hand fans as my favours for the wedding and then the AHR. They are cool we are personalizing them with our name and date on the side of the fan.. and they come in red which is one of my colors!!! So excited about that! Prairiegirl I am so excited for you!! Hey I haven't asked you guys this yet... you are having bridesmaids correct?? Are you paying for their bouquets or know what the resort charges for bridesmaid bouquets?? I was thinking about making my own for my bridesmaids... but wanted to know if it would be cheaper to just have the resort make them?? Anyone know costs or anything like this? Lomas's website doesn't say anything about bridesmaids bouquets.... help!

Thats awesome about your dress! I can't open the attachement however... that sucks! I know I was so excited to put the deposit on my dress on the 17th!! I still have to get pics of it to post it on here for you all!! I also just puchased my sand ceremony stuff... and I was trying to find a way that I would stop the sand from leaking when we bring it home and you know those green half moon styrofoam things? It fits perfectly in the top! I will just have to tape it shut... so if you are looking to find something to stop the sand from leaking.. good choice.. from Walmart only 97cents! And my vase was 3$!! Oh and I got my cake topper too!!! Also just found out that I will be having my third bridesmaid after all... my fiance has 2 sisters one of them wasn't going to be able to come... and now they can!!! So excited about that! They already have their dresses picked out.. just need to order them now!!! So exciting!!

HI! My fiance and I also plan on doing something like this! We have lived together for 7 years already so honestly we don't need anything, and if we do we go out and buy it ourselves! So we are both really into the enviroment and PETA or saving animals.. that type of thing.. so we are researching into what charity would be best for us to use as our "registry".. do any of you know of any good charities or organizations that you could let me know about?? That would be great!! Thanks!

You know what I would do too... bring along all your emails you've sent to your WC to make sure all the details you guys have outlined up to this point are correct and they can't come back on you saying they were unaware of any of those items... that is what I plan on doing... just so pricing is as it should be and all the items get done as promised by the non- on site WC...

Yeah I was seriously wondering that too... what if the flight that we go one doesn't have the first class storage and then what? Someone suggested to call the airline or talk to my TA about asking to hang it in the flight attendants closest, is that big enough either? Or would it be crammed either way
