  1. I'm thinking about getting married at Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana (it's where I got engaged) and I've only heard good things about them. It can cost about $1700 or $1800 per person. They have their own wedding coordinator but can be a little difficult to get confirmations with the plans. Someone started a forum specifically for this resort and wedding planning on msn. I'll help as much as I can if you have questions. -Carissa

  3. Thanks everyone! My family lives between GreenBay and Milwaukee near Lake Michigan, but I, myself, live in North Carolina right now. So either way, I am looking at planning a long distance wedding! -Carissa
  4. Hello! My name is Carissa and I've been engaged since January and still undecided on whether I'm going to get married in Wisconsin (where my family is) or in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (where I got engaged). If I do get married in Punta Cana, I am looking at January 12th or 21st at the Gran Bahia Principe Punta Cana. My only concern is cost. Wish me luck on my decision making! -Carissa
