haha - for giggles, I tried to get pricing from Sandals web site for rooms for my Nov 2011 wedding at SDR and found something interesting... SGOR's said that no rooms were available (a good message to indicate it's too early to book) but SDR's is quoting me at $139,986 for a seven night stay in any level room. That's a steal at $19,998 per night (no airfare included). They must be going to be doing some MAJOR upgrades between now and then. I know it's not accurate but thought it was funny, nonetheless. So...my advice would be not to book more than 2.5 years in advance lol who knows, the resort may not even be there when I'm ready ;-)

I have 1094 days left until we plan on getting married (we aren't even officially engaged ) But once we had the idea of a DW, I couldn't get started fast enough !! It's gorgeous !! I guess the first thing to do would be to find out the return policy - that may make your decision easier. Also, maybe there is a retailer in your area that may carry the same dress??

When we first got the idea of a DW wedding, we thought it would only be us and one other couple so we chose Jamaica due to the simplicity and cost of the paperwork, etc. Now, more people want to join us, and they have 3 years notice to save :-)
