  1. Well I'm looking into Floristeria Orquidea Morada online. Their catalog is online with the prices in dollars. The owner only speaks English, or so she told me. To be honest, it does'nt seem that much better priced than the ones available at the resorts. But I have'nt been able to find anything else!!! Maybe this florist is helpful for you
  2. wow this is a great post!!!!!!!!!!! thanks, i wish i had thought of this. very very helpful. I'm going to ask the WC for specific Majestic Elegance info (aka restaurant and ceremony locale info) and will try to post once I get my hands on it.
  3. Wow you photos are beautiful Jessyg20, they have given me so much inspiration b/c you have some great ideas. the color coordination was planned down to a t and it all looks great. I like the chocolate seashells on the cake, were they very hard to make?
  4. oh these are great! I was looking for environment-friendly bags and these fit my budget, thanks!
  5. Wow what an awesome thread! You are my inspiration and you have given me so many great ideas!!! I think your wedding guests are going to feel special and pampered from all the thoughtfulness you put into this preparation. I wish you a lovely wedding!

Here's a link, if anyone's interested, to the Yankee Candle, potpurri section on their website...you have to scroll down a bit until you find "Beach Walk".... Yankee Candle - Potpourri Thank you Simistar, this is such a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. I love your menus they look beautiful! I'm going to do the same and order from vistaprint. I ordered vistaprint cards for my aunt's dental office and they came out great. some people commented on them b/c it had vistaprint in small lettering printed on the back. but someone ALWAYS has something to say. the same thing happened when i bought the martha stewart invitations it says her name in the back in VERY SMALL LETTERING, but who cares? if its good quality, it's ALL GOOD with me. the vistaprint card i received had bright colors and great printing. so anywayz thanks for the great idea and i love your design!
  8. the 'instruction to make a logo using powerpoint' sticky in the DIY forum thread really helped me. I made 5 logos with it and it worked out perfectly. BTW, I scavenged online until I found the perfect sand dollar. So don't limit yourself to the clipart on the microsoft website. Here is the link to the instructions: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t8310
  9. I stayed at Riu Bachata in late 2006 and loved it!!!! The resort has EXCELLENT food, tons of activities (free watersports), nice rooms (the bachata was fabulous, even if it was the "lower end resort" of the 3) and very friendly staff. It's fun b/c u can go through the 3 different resorts, including the different specialty restaurants. The most beautiful gazebo in DR is in this resort, it juts out into the ocean on a hill and your guests will have a view of the ceremony and the ocean right behind. It is GORGEOUS. i wanted to get married here but my family and my fiancee's fam really want to goto Punta Cana so I'm looking into weddings there. keep in mind though that i never actually SAW a wedding here, i just imagined what it could be like. summary: if it's anything like my stay here, you won't regret it!
  10. the dress looks beautiful and it fits your shape perfectly. the best part is the shimmering up top... can't have enough sparkly!
  11. kee lac, this may help b/c i believe i know what your talking about, on office2007 you can select picture --> goto 'format' tab --> goto 'picture shape' --> select the shape that most resembles what you want. this was the only way i could get that white box off of mine (i have a sand dollar clipart so i used the circle shape) I hope this was helpful! let me know if i can help w/ anything else.
  12. Can anyone give me the package info for Photosouvenir? ok i just found it on another post: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t7080-5 shellb's post on page 5 has the pricing
