I'm not sure about Cecilia @ Maroma, but I just got an e-mail yesterday saying that Miriam is no longer the WC @ Silversands. It is now someone named Rocio. I am supposed to meet with the WC's from both Silversands and Maroma when I'm there in November and I haven't heard from Cecilia in a while either.

I know what you mean. I got in on the TripAdvisor drama late and now it's going to cool off. I e-mailed Cecilia @ Maroma beach and I have an appt to meet with her while we are there in November. We will be comparing the two resorts, taking pictures, etc. So I'll share it all once we get back. In the meantime, I am sooo looking forward to hearing from those of you who will be there before me!

Oh, girl!!! I would love to hear ALL about it!!! Who are you dealing with? Do you like him/her? I was just about to write a random e-mail to the generic address to see about setting up an initial meeting when we are down there in November. Are you using their photographer? Do you have to? I would love, love, love to see your menus, price, lists, the works!

We are staying at Silversands in November, but I'm thinking we will prob do Maroma Beach for the wedding location. We'll see. I looked all over for deals. I ended up booking through Orbitz. They were having a sale. When are you going to check it out?

That's great! Thanks girls. We actually finally dove in last night and scheduled a scouting trip in November. We are staying @ the Silversands for this trip because it was less expensive (at least on orbitz). We are definitely going to check out the Maroma Beach location because I was thinking that one would be my pick for the wedding. We'll see! I'll look forward to hearing both of your thoughts after you get back!

Hello everyone! I am wondering if anyone has any information and/or thoughts about Secrets Silversands or Secrets Maroma Beach? We are looking for an adults-only all-inclusive for our wedding and both of these look beautiful. I think Silversands was supposed to open this week. I would certainly also like to hear from any Secrets Capri brides (your experience, planning, staff, service, etc.) Thanks a million!

Greetings everyone, I finally signed up after spending HOURS and HOURS on this site. We are in the early stages of planning. Looking mostly at Cancun and Riviera Maya, but still not positive. I have really enjoyed reading the BDW posts. The information available here is incredible!!! I may never get back to working....
