  1. Great find! FI got his suit from there, Sean John linen, and I love it! He's wearing off white and it matches my ivory dress perfectly! The GM are wearing tan linen pants and white button down shirts, they look so nice!

I'm so glad all of you are getting married before me....AND in jamaica.... it's going to be great seeing your planning progress and final choices....and PIX galore! Get some rollers, the kind used for rod sets and put them on the ends of your hair after you twist it with some setting lotion, let dry over night and voila!
  4. Sorry Dani, no luck. Just more pics of me with it pinned up. But here a few more pics of some styles I found.

Last texlax was august 07 and I'm just w a i t i n g for it to grow already! 1.Yes I do and thanks Dani!! I just noticed that your wedding date is June 5th 2010, mine is June 5th 2009! Its kismet! 2. I do, let me try to dig em up, I am the ponytail queen, lol! 3. I started out short and it took about a year to get a decent length of hair, but then I went and relaxed it...grrr...bad idea :.( So after the wedding I plan to go short and then embark on my natural journey again.
  6. Here is a pic of me with the invisible braids from last year and also with kinky twists done with the synthetic hair. I love wearing them because they can be styled so many different ways! I grew my hair out naturally last year and wore almost every braid style known to man, lol!

I would recommend using HUMAN HAIR when you get your hair styled for the wedding. Most beauty supply stores carry it and you can also find it online. Its more expensive but the overall look of the hair is much better. Now the kinky braids should last longer then two weeks if you have them done with synthetic hair and are very cute!

  10. Here are pics of them done individually, the technique is also known as lacing. These can also be done with longer hair.

In the case of interlocks, the natural hair is braided and then the hair is attached using a tool. Very similiar but completely different end results. Here are a few pics of the tree braids done as cornrows:

Heres the killer part: The tanks were on clearance for $2.50 and the decals were $3.99, the whole shirt was less than $10! I hadn't planned to make my own but then I had the decals at home already so I went for it :.) I see ides that I like online and try to add my twist to em, I figure that since Im only getting married once, I need to make it as DIVALICIOUS as possible!

FI is so serious, I cant even imagine him rolling in sand, water, etc! I really wanted to do the boudoir pics, but havent been able to find the time or the money :.) Maybe we can do a short TTD session since we have on scheduled already.
  14. Heres another tank that I made...somewhat! I bought the tank from VS and the words "very sexy" were already on it. I just used an iron on decal I bought from the fabric store and ironed it right under. My bm's got these in their bags, they say "very sexy bridesmaid"!

I personally like TTD better than wedding pics ha! i know alot of girls have said they enjoyed the TTD way better than wedding photos. For us we're going to make books. I will definitely have some hung around the house. We want some sexy, but not over the top. Mostly just beautiful more artistic photos of us. When else would you have these kinds of photos done of each other? Never! And thats the flip side of it :.( Its most likely a once in a lifetime deal, not sure that I wont regret it in the end....dang girl! LOL! Such good points!

  17. Im considering skipping these pics, is anyone else not doing a trash the dress session?
  18. Anedra thanks for posting this!!! One more DIY project for me!
