  1. Hi there, Yes, your brother can officiate in Florida. I'm an ordained minister myself and have preformed multiple ceremonies. I was ordained through the Universal Life Monastery and have not had any problems.

  3. Check out Curtis Smith. He is a close friend and is amazing. http://www.curtissmithphotography.com
  4. Hi Ladies, Just thought I'd let everyone know about a new wedding location in the Bahamas. Check it out: Bimini Bay Resort, Marina & Spa Bahamas - Romantic Getaway Vacation Package Photos are by Curtis Smith: http://www.curtissmithphotography.com If you have any questions let me know.
  5. Hey I know this sounds odd but has anyone checked out the Fish Company next door to Morada Bay? I planned a small wedding there back in March and it's super pretty and a whole lot cheaper.

Trust me, the Miami office won't disappoint. Neither will Mexico. I work better at freelance wedding planning because the outcome is handled by me and not dependent on someone else sending me info. Not having the information to answer questions and having to wait to hear from the Mexico office irritated me. Carolina is more then aware of the issues that need tweaking. They are going to be adding to their staff in Miami hopfully to lighten the work load on the coordinators. Miami is just the stepping stone. Mexico finalizes every detail and they do it well. If you guys have any wedding questions I'll be happy to help.
  7. Sun Palace just started taking wedding reservations. It by far is the best for beach weddings.
  8. No, I no longer work there.....THANK GOD! I'm sure some of you are as happy as I am. However, I wanted to take the chance to come on here and give you a better perspective on the whole wedding department issue. The first thing I ask is for people to have more patience. Your email/voicemail is not the only one in the inbox. The department is still going through a HUGE transitional phase with Mexico. Carolina, bless her heart, has been working hard on creating templates for each coordinator to be able to send when brides request information. Most of the time every question has to be sent to the resort to be answered especially price quotes. There isn't a file for which flowers, cakes, and decor is available and how much it costs. Hence what Caro is trying to accomplish. I want to apologize to anyone who felt I inadequately handled your wedding. No, I didn't appreciate after a long day at work coming home and finding negative vents about me on a public forum online. However, I'm going to take it as a added sign P.R. and I weren't made for one another. We have parted ways and I hope as it has benefitted myself it also betters the experience you all have had with the wedding department. Please be patient with your next/new coordinator. They all work very hard to finalize each file properly. This post was not to collect even further ambushing but to just notify people that I am not a lazy worker or imcompetant person. I simply wasn't meant to work there. Again I apologize and wish everyone the best.
  9. Hi I'm Liz. Just got engaged and my fiance and I really want a small intimate but unique wedding. I'm sure we're more towards the 2010 range.
