IM getting married in a year and half and im already looking around and speaking with TA. I think this the hardest part we know the resort and we just wanna start the process:) and book a flight.

So far, the biggest stress factory is picking a resort that is going to be beautiful and that doesnt cost everyone a arm and a leg to go. The date is till far away so im sure ill have many stress factors. But very glad to have this site to not feel so alone.

hello all ILA BRides:) I am so excited that I finally found a forum with brides that are getting married at ILA. Ive changed my mind so many time about the location but FINALLY this is the ONE!! All your responses have been very helpful so far and have answered so many questions for me. I was wondering there are a lot of brides getting married MAY 2010. How early did you speak with WC at the resort? and book a wedding date and time? Im getting married MAY 2011 and not sure if now is to early to email and set a date? congrats to everyone again and thanks

Congrats:) After changing my mind many many times too. i have narrowed it down to the Iberostar laugna Azul or Iberostar Varadero. But leaning towards Iberostar Laugna Azul Great choice.

hi !! im so happy that i came across this forum. I have been wondering the same thing about booking with the hotel and getting a date. Im planning a May2011 wedding too and am wondering when to start taking with the hotel. Will they give me information this far advance if i want to book the location for ceremony and dinner? . im planning to go to ROR (i think) 99% sure and starting to feel overwhelmed with all the information i need to gather. AHHHHHHHH

this might be a silly question but if anyone can answer i would really appreciate it. how far advance can you book you ceremony and dinner. I am leaning towards the poolside reception and still not sure about the ceremony site. I know i would like to have the ceremony around 3:00. I was wondering what other peoples expereince was when booking. how far advanced did you book? did you wait till you had you flights booked? is that what is standard? I am not getting married till may 2011 and am just wondering trying to research and be prepared
